The Lakers Net Rating with and without Lebron is NOT about the Lakers roster. This has been a feature of the Bron system, EVERY single season of his career.
That's not true at all, I'm a LBJ fan and his 2011 meltdown is 110% on him. The thing that people want is there to be consistency, considering whenever any team LBJ is on loses a single game there's always a large contingent of media that'll automatically put all the blame on his shoulders no matter what his numbers are or the efficiency at which he gets them. It is a team sport after all and long gone are the days where the best player on the court can beat the better overall team (and he even bucked that trend when coming back from 3-1 down in the finals). @@chiggsytube it's not about who wanted Westbrook he is already there..maybe Lebron was trying to give Westbrook a chance to redeem himself but Lebron realized he is far from saving unless he really commits..everybody commits turnovers but his turnovers are really kids mistakes destroying momentum
Maybe I’m crazy, but I think people are sleeping on this new Lakers roster. I think losing Westbrook was addition by subtraction, mainly cause he was such a horrible fit with the roster. D’Angelo, Hachimura, Vanderbilt and Mo Bamba are great additions and fill a lot of needs they had. I think Reaves and Lonnie are underrated pieces. Shroder’s a wildcard who can randomly get hot and put up 20+ on any night. Lebron is Lebron. If they sneak into the playoffs with a healthy AD - I think they could absolutely have a realistic shot of knocking off the Nuggets or Grizzlies or Clippers in the first round.
Man l agree with you here they go the LeBron apologist fan boys setting up the excuse but why the praise him for the number he putting up at his age and his 20 season but when he might not make the playoffs it's the organization fault but get this LeBron pick Westbrook and how can they get someone when they have LeBron, AD and Westbrook contracts .
Putting these three in the same room for the broadcast is a VAST IMPROVEMENT from the days of the time delayed, talk-over-one-another debates of the past.
I think James is the first to try and be good at 38. Malone and Kareem were good at that age aswell. Also a past his prime Jordan at age 38 had the Wizards in the Playoffs and was 4th in the NBA in scoring until he got injures. (the league was much rougher then). Still Jordan was 4th in the NBA in scoring at 25 ppg 6 rebounds 4 assists 2 steals until the injury. Only like 4 or 5 players tried to be good or Very good at that age.
Oh, but I do hold it against MJ that he got bad and failed. It's one of the biggest reasons why LeBron is the Greatest All-round NBA Player OAT. Michael should have quit while he was Nike "invincible"
The fact that lebron (at age 38) is scoring more and putting up better numbers these last 2 years than when he was younger and in his Prime and Peak... says all you need to know about how ridiculously EASY it is to put up stats in this NO DEFENSE league.
Exactly all the 40 point games by avg players the reason is 7 players currently avg over 30 the reason all the teams are avg about 110 points a game now why the all star game was foolish and not really that far from how the normal game is being played teams shot more threes than twos now players get 3 on 1 fast breaks and pull up for 3 instead of making easy layups
And was bricking wild open shots, it was crazy to see. Especially since he made it seem he was gonna improve the Lakers with that "I always make the playoffs, did LeBron make it last yr" interview. He sounded stupid then, and sounds stupid now with his "knocking the Lakers off" comments.
@@DGMjay23 I think he meant the two times they're slated to meet later in the schedule, but Pat Bev is not DeMar or Lavine to effect winning. Beverly says outlandish things to get noticed, dude be running around like a headless chicken on the court while doing absolutely nothing. No stops, no points, no assists, no rebounds. Just a waste of space and roster spot.
Pat B can be a contributor- he is just inconsistent. Most players are. I blame coaches more, for not adapting plays/ strategies to players performance that game, in match-ups, etc. Look at the great 80s match-ups - it was players and coaches playing chess, psych out games, trying to get each other off their game, that night. Pistons team had Celtics and Bulls number down in 87, 88, 89... Bulls then turned the tables, with coaching and roster and chess... It'
What blows my mind is how people can just assume that the problem is the guy that averages 30 7 and 7 in year 20 who’s won multiple titles and mvps but god forbid you put the blame on a man who is having quite possibly the worst season of the last 20 years and surprisingly keeps getting traded around the whole league🤣🤣the standard of excellence we hold certain players too is actually amazing
You see no problem with the guy who's just sticking around to play with his son? Or break records... then take multiple games off... but play in the All Star game... then talk about "most important 23 games"??? Drama queen about "no call" vs Celtics... yet happy to sit out and lose cos "tired from celebrating breaking a record"???? "Every game is important... except the ones that aren't"???
So Nick basically said that the Nets and the Clippers are good teams without kd and kawhi, but lebron has trash teammates. The difference between lebron and the other two, the other two teams win when they play. Minus the bubble season, the Lakers have been a lottery team since lebron signed with the. Westbrook is gone, so now all of the blame is going on a.d.

What nick said is true i've watched alot of lakers games whenever Lebron sits sheet happens especially when Westbrook was there..
Who wanted Westbrook on the team?
@@chiggsytube it's not about who wanted Westbrook he is already there..maybe Lebron was trying to give Westbrook a chance to redeem himself but Lebron realized he is far from saving unless he really commits..everybody commits turnovers but his turnovers are really kids mistakes destroying momentum
It would be nice to see Michael and Isaiah sitting down for a conversation!
Broussard is finally having a good time
A great point by Chris but also a greater counter argument by Nick
All I hear is excuses
Man l agree with you here they go the LeBron apologist fan boys setting up the excuse but why the praise him for the number he putting up at his age and his 20 season but when he might not make the playoffs it's the organization fault but get this LeBron pick Westbrook and how can they get someone when they have LeBron, AD and Westbrook contracts .
MJ AVERAGED 22.4 AT 40 YEARS OLD. AND PLAYED 82 GAMES. PLEASE STOP THE DISCUSSION. MJ🐐
AND! at the age lebron is right now! MJ is the only person in NBA history to drop 51pts
Wildes is a national treasure
Putting these three in the same room for the broadcast is a VAST IMPROVEMENT from the days of the time delayed, talk-over-one-another debates of the past.
Nick just told them this yesterday and Chris denied it
Good explanation Broussard 😎👏🏼
Nick uses stats to justify his takes about James but hates same stats when it comes to MVP race. The consistency man...
bruh stop comparing lebron to Jordan lebron doesnt stack up.
Lebron had teams that should have made the playoffs
I think James is the first to try and be good at 38. Malone and Kareem were good at that age aswell. Also a past his prime Jordan at age 38 had the Wizards in the Playoffs and was 4th in the NBA in scoring until he got injures. (the league was much rougher then). Still Jordan was 4th in the NBA in scoring at 25 ppg 6 rebounds 4 assists 2 steals until the injury.
Only like 4 or 5 players tried to be good or Very good at that age.
Generally speaking I don’t think it’s a matter of effort
Kareem was also good at age 38..Sports Illustrated magazine's "Sportsman of the Year" (1985) and NBA Finals MVP(1985)
Wizards jordan pre injury was pretty good and underrated overall. Everyone today averages insane numbers cause of the rules and style of play.
Lmao the nba was plumbers and electricians when Jordan played. It was like a Division 1 college league. It was rough… to watch.
Something about Pat Beverley's "hood" persona and a Versace robe that cracks me up. It's like Bill Gates wearing a bandana.
Wilds is the best…😂
Nick, people definetly do love pat bev. His podcast gets a lot of views
These guys have Quietly and Methodically TAKEN OVER SPORTS TALK SHOW. LOVE THE CHEMISTRY...AND THE GOOD HUMOR.
Nick eyes lit up when he saw a chance to slob on LbJ noggin’
Pat bev is part of the reason we out of it now😂😂 man thought he was shooting like Curry on our team
@@ochomunna270especially since there not in the same conference so how would they even face each other? Dumb ash😂
@@DGMjay23 I think he meant the two times they're slated to meet later in the schedule, but Pat Bev is not DeMar or Lavine to effect winning. He probably sees himself as a Marcus Smart type player which is actually stupid because Smart is a legit 6'3 without shoes who plays elite defense, can score efficiently and amazing ball distribution coupled with game management.
It'
@@ochomunna270 ohh I see ppreciate u! Nd swear a waste a space never even averaged 20 points a season
Don't forget that all this happened because Lebron Wanted Westbrick on the Lakers.
Pretty sure he's the oldest player in the league, the average age of the NBA right now is only 26, it's incredible!
💯💯💯
You see no problem with the guy who's just sticking around to play with his son?
Or break records... then take multiple games off... but play in the All Star game... then talk about "most important 23 games"???
Drama queen about "no call" vs Celtics... yet happy to sit out and lose cos "tired from celebrating breaking a record"????
"Every game is important... except the ones that aren't"???
Why would I blame "Street Clothes" when the only reason he's there is cos LeBron???
nick had a great argument
So Nick basically said that the Nets and the Clippers are good teams without kd and kawhi, but lebron has trash teammates. The difference between lebron and the other two, the other two teams win when they play. Minus the bubble season, the Lakers have been a lottery team since lebron signed with the. Westbrook is gone, so now all of the blame is going on a.d.
This new look laker team should make some noise , they fit better together and AD and Bron get more space to operate in the half court.
Wish we had this roster in the beginning of the season
Pat Bev just entered his villain arc.
Eli Apple is the Patrick Beverly NFL equivalent
THE ONLY ERA WHERE THEY MAKE EXCUSES FOR THR PLAYER THAT PLAY WITH EVERYONE & THEY CALL GOAT😂
THANK YOU Broussard! Finally a sensical point of vview on LBJ at his age
the only reason we kind of judge LBJ is because we have unreasonable expectations of him. I remember watching Jordan limp along, same with Kobe. We knew they were finished. Bron still has gas in the tank so we want to see him maximize on it.
This is another excuse blame everyone except the king
