This just popped up on my recommendations. I’m also a solo mom. With 2 girls 4 and 1 with a baby boy on the way in February. My husband is a lineman in Texas. We’re in NC close to my family, because my husband’s job is based in Texas but he goes anywhere where there’s a bad storm or whatever. He’s been in Oklahoma for almost 3 weeeks.

My dad is a truck driver and he takes my dog (small) with him sometimes! It’s really lonely being on the road by yourself for such a long period of time and can get to you mentally! Maybe your hubby should look into it?! My dog and my dad really enjoys it!
