@@abdillahiadanissah9244 happy to hear that you had a good experience in Uganda 🇺🇬
Remember this from the 70’s.Ugandans are lovely people
Wow...it's been awhile Peter..
Greetings from the Caribbean (Haïti). Just come accross your channel. I feel like my heart is truly connected with Uganda. Wondering if my ancestors are not from there. I crave to try all types of food over this market.
Wow...am sure Haiti and Uganda have alot in common.....you know what....you need to come and visit us....that's the only way you will find out....
@@EatingTheAfricanWay great answer!
@Mie Uganda 🇺🇬 is in East Africa so most likely your ancestors were not from there. That said, you are very welcome to any part of Africa. Have you had your ancestry DNA yet?
@@LetsTravellChannel Thank you for your comments.
We are from every part from Africa: East, West, South... So, from my perspective, I didn't interested to have the DNA test. Coz, I was saying to myself, it's time to talk about one Africa for all africans people, regardless ethnicity groups, religious, believes....etc As you stated, I should be welcome anywhere from Africa!

Kampala was my place. Kikoni, was my hood, did alot of shopping in Owino market. My favourite food there was fried fish , g.nuts , cassava, posho plus vijajallo, plus ofcourse, the tasty special Nile.
Mukwano was much a good area for shopping too.
Club high table along Kampala road, club oxygen in Nakulabye were top and entertaining.

Wish to pass owino market & enjoy such taste and delicious fresh food,
Please do....you will enjoy your time there....
Very healthy food.
Thank you
So much variety of dishes and all looks delicious. Prepared with so much care! Organic food is so expensive overseas and most is harvested before maturity so loses its taste! So proud of you - so much progress and consistency plus improvement! Folks a plate of food in these types of markets depends on if vegan (cheaper) or red or white meat and accompaniment. Remember to bargain as they’re flexible- price per plate ranges from $1 -$2 max so great deals. Subscribed. Thanks for sharing!
Wow....I had missed this comment....Thanks for sharing all this with us...just know am working so hard to improve everything....
Bravo bro am Kenyan following you from London UK thanks sharing with us this is wonderful FRESHLY COOKED BALANCED DIET FOODS smart/kibao 💯✅
Karubu Sana my bro.... happy to have you here......how is UK treating you...
Nico, so many vendors in the market, it must be the most popular in the area and with the volume of pedestrian traffic passing through on a daily basis. You blended in well with the people and did what you normally do best, eat everything in sight. The one you shared your food with has a nice smile. Clearly you have recovered well judging from the regular amount of food you consumed near the end.
I did this video before I got sick......hahaha....but am back now....more food should be consumed 🤣🤣🤣.
That market is so busy and so big.....
Thanks for watching Mr John
They're not fearing the camera but language barrier"English"is the reason why most of them are shying away so use the luganda which they are good at
Ooh that's right...next time I'll talk to them..

Respect Soldier! Do a video 📹 reaching out to African Americans to start eating 🤔 our traditional food of Uganda 🇺🇬 and all of Africa 🌍. It's 45 Million Black ⚫️ Americans who need to informed about their food of Africa 🌍. When I visit 🤔 I will definitely support your work and the unity 🤝🏿 of all Black ⚫️ People world 🌎 Wide...
It's what am trying to fight for....but there are certain equipments that I still need...and after I'll start serious work.... we are now warming up..
@Eating The African Way Beloved, I give you my word. Insha Allah, when I arrive in Kampala I will support you.... A lot of my partners here in the Black Community in America 🇺🇸 is waking up and want to relocate to Africa 🌍. East, South, and West Africa 🌍.
Thank you so much...tell them this is their home....they can decide where to go and they will be welcomed..... we want our people to come back home.....
@Eating The African Way I do. That's mostly what I tell our people here in our Black Community ⚫️. I hope soon one day Museveni call 📞 all of us Back Home 🏡 to Uganda 🇺🇬. Then issue us all "Free Visa Status." Brother have our sisters there who cook very well learn to cook all the National Dishes of all our African Countries 👌🏿. West, East, Central, South, and North Africa 🌍. That will help unite us as people 😀 once we learn to love ❤️ each other's food... All the food of Africa 🌍 is all our food as Black ⚫️ People. No matter our Tribe, Ethnic Group, or Language... We are only of one Tribe. "THE BLACK ⚫️ TRIBE"..... The sooner we as Black ⚫️ Africans learn this, the better we can unite as a people 😉 globally..... Big Facts!
Let's keep praying as we find the way out.... and keep our faith High....
man i feel i should pass by owino one of these days to enjoy a meal
You need to go there....you will love it
Can you be showing each food/plate up close before you start eating it?
Also, I wish you mentioned how much you paid for each dish.
Otherwise, thank you for the information. At least I'm getting ideas of where to eat next time I'm in Kampala.
Next time I'll do my best......🙏🏿🙏🏿🙏🏿 thanks for watching
Not sure where you are located but in such large markets price caters to different classes (income) and type of food (vegan is cheaper). Budget for between $1 and $2 maximum
I love that they are using reusable plates and not single use plastic/styrofoam
Thanks for watching..
Blessings to you. 🇨🇲
Thank you Berg...Blessings to you too

Home misses you too Sophia
You should get your cameraman to zoom in so we can see the food as it is about the food
I understand you but I don't have a lens which can zoom in....and most times the camera man can't move closer to the food because of other people sitting around and don't want disturbance.....bit once I get that camera lens I need....all will be well..
Must have been Delicious you ate it all ❣️
It was really delicious...haha...
This all looks so good!😍
Thank you Ocean
