That piano intro is stunningly beautiful. Even though Bone Carver era Pyramaze is no more, I'm starting to embrace this new proggy sound of theirs. Really looking forward to the entire album!

This is just that alternative stuff like disturbed. Power metal requires the gayer/more feminine singers. The pop vocalists don't ever sound like males but not as gay as power metal singers who mostly just wish they could be Halford. It's simply like a dream Theather copy. That's called progressive pop cause dream theather only made one metalish album. If the band changes to new pop sounds every album that would indeed just be progressive. Never confuse progressive with metal. If they keep doing metal they aren't "progressing" thru pop bullshit sounds to find what lines their pockets with gold the most
