To all of you saying it's cruel that she was named Hamantha, Samantha would've been more cruel.
If she were called Samantha, people would've called her Hamantha as an insult.
Naming her Hamantha was a way of saving her from being insulted, because if it's her name, it's not an insult, it's just her name.
