I believe that your image in the Laavuu shelter was telling us that it had as many small holes in it as there were stars in the heavens.
Ice on the leaves tells the story. Enjoy the warmth while you can. Then it gets realfun.

The rain drops sound very loud, I'm thinking maybe put some moss on the umbrella of the camera can make the sound more natural, just a suggestion.

Sometime use rocks and dirt or mud to build a chimney type fireplace so you can have warmth inside the shelter safely.

Sounds good. This is the sound in my won home Village when was young the rain coming down nature sound and the air we breathe real rain coming down as well. Beautiful seaside where you camping but I not like living along the sea. Because making me scared. Your camping is really warm.

Are those quick shelters or are you going to turn them into something more permanent? That first one looks like someone has started to make something more solid there and not finished it. Are you going to build some sort of bigger, better shelter or leave the shelters as simple covers as is?
