Introduction to the use of Face blend for sophisticated/challenging CAD situations

  • Join me behind the scenes for another of my single-take rehearsals for demos that I am prepping for, test-driving new concepts, or generally practicing. Usually recorded late after all my normal work is done, you might enjoy some of the tips and tricks I hope to offer.
    Today I'm looking at the Face blend feature in Onshape. This is a powerful toolset that can perform magic on a lot of different use cases (it's more than a fillet, hence the name)
    I only cover a couple of examples, and intend to cover some more in future examples...

    Thank you Greg, I've only just stumbled onto your channel and i've already gained so many tips. I'd only had limited use of face-blend so far, but that changes today :)

      Evan there are many more examples to come - face blend is a rich set of tools all gathered together, so it's impossible to address in just one shot
