On turn 6 you could've taken hunting instead of philosophy and that would allow you to upgrade your capital. Next turn you would buy philosophy, and in the next turn you could buy riding/mining/fishing and capture the city.
There at 8:23 you should have got mining and delayed the explorer by a turn, wouldn't have hurt you and would make mining 4 stars cheaper when buying it, while this only gave you +1 spt. I'm not a pro, not even too good, but i think i'm correct about this 😅 Otherwise a nice video, as always! And as the bonus you always make me laugh with your slightly awkward comments, I absolutely love them 😁
Hey, like your videos. Got any Polaris vs Aquarion. Aquarion is my favorite tribe. Really wanna see you against a good Aquarion. You'll prolly just use the weakness of Aqurion and Cymanti having no chain units.
how are they a try hard at the same elo and also 60% your score the whole game? new to this game don't understand how the other person was even a threat here as you had higher score the whole time
Ahh yes, the age old question: score doesn't mean much in polytopia Some tribes, like ai-mo, have a higher score potential due to their starting technology. Moreover, imperius is much stronger on continents than Ai-mo (I just decided to call that tryhard, because I get tired of fighting the same three best tribes over and over again)
@@MrBlueberryCheesecake got it, makes sense. I see score in this similar to Civ V (maybe Civ VI too?) where it doesn't mean much until it starts getting like 30%+ difference in which case theres probably crazy eco differences. I think in this one, you had the eco lead the whole time as they had a trash start spot. Score probably was reflecting that you upgraded your settlements faster than they could
You grabbed all the starfishes, all the ruins and the good port spots, wp
The new name goes hard, you should get yourself a matching profile icon instead of the red letter
Is in the making!
