Thank you for sharing your opinions and explaining what brushes you like and why you like them. I only have 3 Rephr brushes and the only one I like is the 21. The two other brushes are too scratchy. I love the Sonia G Hinoki set - the goat hair on those brushes is so much softer than on the Rephr brushes. I would love you to do a video about all your favorite brushes.
I bought my Rephr brushes during the Kickstarter preorder when the brand first came out, and that goat hair is more comparable to Hakuhodo. I have a feeling the quality lowered over time, either intentionally, or due to the decrease in goat hair quality in the past couple of years. I think they are great on half-price sale for Fude beginners, otherwise they are a pass!
Yes! The Sonia G Hinoki brushes are wonderful. I had bought the Rephr 4 for liquid blush and it’s a great choice. But I found better versions from Koyudo and the small Sonia G Hinoki brush.
I would stick to Rephr for liquids. Hinoki are truly a gem and I wouldn’t damage them with liquid. I know that people tend to say that undied brushes are for liquids but the Hinoki are more delicate than other undied goat around so I personally would not risk to damage them with liquids
I have only a few Rephr brushes, and after using them, I am not planning to buy more... I would agree that SoniaG is much better and softer, so I prefer to invest in quality. Especially when I don't need a huge brush collection for my everyday make-up.

This is so helpful! I’m starting a list of fude brushes to check out and learn about.
More videos are coming on my channel! Try to find critical videos, otherwise you end up wasting money on unnecessary expensive stuff 😘
