Single phrase/word titles are the best. No “this would do that and I found out why and wish I hadn’t” bullshit. Just plain, simple “The Hollow-Out”. 10/10 title, very intriguing.
Don't forget that the title has to be so obvious even a foetal alcohol syndrome afflicted chimpanzee could figure out the proceedings from just one glance.

Both the simple phrase titles and long ones are great, they both grab attention, simple ones seem ominous, and long ones make you interested “how has buying a set of toasters caused earwigs to follow this man? I must know!”
I seriously hate the long titles. They never interest me.
"I went to the store to buy pants, and now I can't find my legs"
"My dad always made me breakfast. One day, he didn't."
"I sleep under blankets with a pillow. I found something in my blankets and pillow..."
I really like how creeps has been doing different voice impressions lately. It helps me envision the story better in my mind.
This story lowkey reminds me of that one mental condition that makes people believe that people around them or someone close to them is a robot or alien or something and they slowly go crazy.
Paranoid Schizophrenia. If I recall properly. I’m a psychology nerd and mental health activist and if it weren’t for the evidence of the literal bodies being left this would be a clear example of the condition.
We aren't going crazy! Why would anyone believe that the people closest to them are either aliens or robots? That doesn't even make any sense, because robots are the aliens themselves. We have just been desperately trying to warn people about them, because for some reason they aren't able to tell that the dog they think they are walking isn't actually a dog but a 9 foot tall robot alien with 5 and a half legs. Why would they have half a leg? I don't know but, oh wait, ugh omg it's not a half leg! What would an alien that is a robot even need one of those for?!
Stop calling those of us that can see them crazy. Once we get put away, who will be around to warn the people that already have these things things close to them?!
I think that because this alien species decided to embrace the singularity, thinking they would then live forever, were wrong. Perhaps once they went full robot, some of them came to visit our planet for whatever reason. One of the newly fully converted robot aliens hadn't finished installing a VPN and had automatically downloaded a Windows update which of course was probably riddled with bugs in the programming, or a virus was attached, I really don't know but they were no longer immortal. Now they need a way to create a hybrid species so they can leave there robot alien forms.
Scariest of all, I believe they have found a way to take over a person directly thus transferring themselves out of their robot form and the new hybrid form I guess the best way to say it is they birth out of the remains of the person they "connected with".
I haven't seen it actually happen, (thank you great and supreme windows auto updates with your overly prevalent bugs and glitches for helping me to avoid the birthing process) but I have seen the aftermath and you don't want it. From what I could tell of what was left of their remains, these alien robots looked a lot like us, and had the same reproductive process as us. And it would appear they are using a very similar process to "connect" with humans, and they must take or absorber some of or maybe just parts of out DNA, flesh, and organs. I saw the remains of 1 man and 1 woman that must have birthed out these hybrid things. Lets just say that in both cases all that was left that wasn't part of the uhhh... puddle... was below the knees and above the bottom jaw. That was the only way to even know that this had happened to humans.
Don't call us crazy if you see us frantically trying to warn people in public that these things are close to them, and trust me when I say, you do not want to experience a "love touch" from an alien robot that is 9 feet tall and who's "transfer stick" is easily mistaken for half a leg!!
What really worries me, is that I have yet to see any of the hybrids. I don't know if they are still here or left for their home world or anything. The only thing I am sure about regarding the hybrids..... Once they have transferred out of their robots forms.... there species switched.... to Apple.....

I loved this one! I think that the sense of paranoia in this story is actually the best part. It's kinda unsettling and nerve wracking to wonder what's next.
Hollow out sounds like my bank account when I have a manic episode and go clothes and music gear shopping.

I like the long titles but the vague ones seem to catch my attention better. The curiosity of not knowing EXACTLY what the threat or creature of the story is.

I don't know why but I feel like the creature for some reason wanted him to love it. Or was it just trying to make him lower his guard? But why did it want to get close to him spesificly and why did it want him to say he loved it?

I really like the idea of this creature hollowing out it's victims and piloting their bodies. What if this thing is like a symbiote? It needs to pilot a body or it'll die.

I was just wondering if I could trouble you with a question? 😊 I am a fiction writer and currently drafting an old fashioned ghost story set in Victorian London. It is set upon a sleeper train and it would be a dream come true to hear my words narrated by yourself (if you enjoy the book of course!). I have noticed that the primary type of stories you like to narrate are typically in a blogger style that is set in the modern day. Mine shall be written as a first person memoir based in past tense. I suppose my question is would you be open to submissions of different styles of writing? My kindest regards.

You've heard of skinwalkers or fleshgaits? Look up some old school Green text stories from /x/. Keque is a good channel to check them out. Green text stories are usually done with text to speech software because it sounds creepier. Lake Ohae is one of the best fleshgait stories out there. Look it up on RUclips. You won't be disappointed.

I’m actually curious if you write any of these stories yourself. I literally write creepypasta for myself since I can never find anything worth listing too. Nothing beats a hand crafted story in witch you control the entire world and out come.
I'm not sure if he writes some of them but most of the time I know he credits the author in the description. Nina Nightmare is another creepypasta narrator who writes all of her own stories and I think Creepy Ghost Stories writes some of his own stories as well.
There a playlist on his channel “written by me” they’re good :)
Maybe you should check out NoSleep. It's kinda hard not to find good stories.
Infact, you might start to get annoyed by RUclips Creepypasta channels, as I find they tend to choose stories based more on titles, than what actually scare you
I got a reply from Deepcut, who wrote the "I can't call asleep, and no-one else will wake up" story, and they very kindly explained my misunderstanding of the story. After listening to it again, I really understood what the author was trying to say, which was really good of them. I've never had a reply from the author before...😁😁😁

Whyever the hollow-out was hunting him, it's made so much scarier once you realise it had the perfect opportunity to unalive him on the train. When it spoke as mr Morrison, it's easy to assume it's just mimicking what mr Morrison would say. That implies it just does what it can to bring it's prey close. The train is real proof of intelligence possibly equal to that of a human. It also means it's just as likely Hollow Morrison wasn't going to unalive the protag, and maybe just talk to him about poor grades
