    Thank you Martin! Your videos (and your filter banjo) have helped me immensely!

    Great video shows exactly how you can manipulate fueling 👍

    Thanks for this!! I'm just finishing the rebuild of my 1.9l 16v PL engine with KE-jetronic. Wondering wether I should increase the fuel pressure or not. It has some mild cams, 4-2-1 header and the head is slightly ported. Would you increase the fuel flow in this case?

      For KE units fuel pressure I fine in upper area of the factory settings, just a touch more fuel flow via the DPR and balancing is all that's needed

      @@GreyGooseRestorations Thanks! So, 62ml in 30 seconds like you are showing here would be a good place to be?

      @kristerantonsen yes
      120cc/min is minimum required

    I can't find the video of how to balance the metering unit for KE-Jet... Is that video taken down? / Micke

      Hi, I haven't made one for KE yet but I'll make one in the next month hopefully

    With a ke jetronic for an escort rs turbo is this the same. Mine flutters around on starting like it doesn't have enough fuel on idle starting but after 5 minutes is then fine. Thanks.

    • @GreyGooseRestorations
      @GreyGooseRestorations  2 месяца назад

      Yes the same principle applies on the RS turbo unit

    • @lawrenceknight-o1s

      Would you suggest a quarter turn to give more fuel on starting/idle to help with this?

    • @GreyGooseRestorations
      @GreyGooseRestorations  2 месяца назад +1

      @lawrenceknight-o1s I'd try 1/8th turn to start with then see how it goes

    i bought a rebuild fuel distributor but when i installed it i notice there was little to no fuel flow to the injectors. when i press down on the plunger no increase of flow either. i did notice that if i unscrew one of the side plugs and leak gas out i get flow to all top ports and flow increases when i push down the plunger. would adjusting this screw help me with this problem?

    • @GreyGooseRestorations
      @GreyGooseRestorations  2 месяца назад

      Which car is it for? As pushing down won't flow fuel unless it's a Mercedes for example, the plate need to lift up

      @Go_Jonn I wouldn't adjust that DPR screw until that issue is sorted, I'd check the system and differential pressures are correct.

    My volvo 244 has k-jetronik and it does this annoyin jerking and stuttering in mid range rpm and idle is also not so smooth. afr meter jumps between 12-14. full throttle and with turbo pressure it works like dream. but with that stuttering its very annoying to drive. fuel pressure is 5.6bar and control pressure is 3.4bar. wur is adjustable and metering head has new inner parts. injectors are new from mercedes. Does someone have any ideas. my newest idea is to try put non turbo metering head,needs little modifying. but in the state where it is now its undrivevable in city traffic.

      Most common for the light throttle is either the CO mixture not correct / air plate rest not set or potentially the throttle/idle switch not set.
      If the MH is working on full chat it's not at fault, is the WUR vacuum working correctly

      @@GreyGooseRestorations Thankyou for that last sentence. Metering head is truly working ok. Problem was with fuel lines. i managed to get original pipings and they solved the problem. i have been fighting with kjet about 20 years now! now the afr stays in steady 14 at idle and exhaust smells like catalytic car. Keep it up and big thanks for support! ☺
