    I noticed the support you pulled out of the main part of the revolver came out smooth and it one large almost ribbon like piece. I’m new to 3D printing, and was wondering if you could tell me how you did that

      Change the support density to be way lower, programs like Cura set it crazy high

      well i own a colt 45 also known as a colt single action army and let me tell ya it wasn't cheap joker cost me 530+ $$$ and ammo is not cheap either so agepbiz you went the wise route with this 3d printing it

      I know this is a joke (so dont r/woooosh me) but i just wanna compare that a 3d printer costs usually 250 dollars and then if you add the filament which is usually 40 dollars, so then if you add them up which is almost 300 dollars. but a real cattleman colt .45 revolver is mostly 600 dollars

    That is a remarkable print quality you can barely see the layers? I have to ask, do you end up sanding or filing before you insert joining studs or do they connect straight off the print bed?

    What kind of 3D printer you’re using. Would a Ender 3 V2 be able to make this kind or model. And what kind of software/website you use to construct the image?

      This was printed on an old Ender 3 so an Ender 3 V2 sure would be able to print it. I manually 3d modelled the files doing polygonmodeling in Autodesk 3ds Max

      Thanks! It is indeed Marmoset 🙂 Timeconsuming manual process though, saved out files after every major update, loaded them into marmoset and keyframed their visibility

    This has frustrated always perplexed me. How long is the barrel of the Cattleman in RDR2? I guessed 5.5 inches, but the grip looks too big compared to the SAA clone I have.

    Curious about what slicer you're using? I recently got a creality printer, been playing around in cura and prusa slicers but since I'm still quite new to 3d printing I don't know what's best for creality, recommendations would be awesome

      I mainly use Simplify3D and have had great experiences slicing for my Creality machines. But S3D is expensive though

    I keep trying it print this, I have doing mainly the barrel since it was first on te list on Thingiverse but everytime I print it with supports and a raft on the AnkerMake m5c it just keeps breaking, the barrel goes about half way then just falls over and breaks any suggestions on what to do. Also you did a fantastic job on this model

      Thank you! Try replacing the raft with a big brim. Also slower speed might help?
