As an entry level kit into frame arms, it gets the job done, if you're going to review any more kotobukiya kits, then I recommend the jagd falx, which is by far my fave kit so far with its aesthetic, weapons and has pretty decent poseability for a frame arm kit
Huh, from what Ive read the cutlass is the mass production type of the baselard and has lower specs compared to the 5 - 6 baselard prototypes. A bit like the gundam to the GMs
If only every review had an explanation of the unused parts. BTW, if you use the Baselard part shown in the video to delete the foot knives, it will fit with the Cutlass soles, but you can use the unused Baselard soles as well, or else the will be a tiny gap in the bottom of the feet, which hardly matters either way.
lots of falling parts, but damn, you could build 3 configuration if you buy the werewolf specter kit. you could build also build a black gourai and a black ryurai kai, and mix match parts.
Nice Review, Do you have any plans for reviews on the White / Shadow Tiger and Black Tortoise? (both of which was designed by the Artist who Drew for Zone of Enders and Metal Gear)
It is. Most of the kotobukiya's kit have some loose parts. Sometimes they even tell you to glue the pieces while you're building it. Just the way it is.
I don't mind loose part, but a loose joint for that price is bad I know koto kit is good for display, hope it can stand on it's own for good(sory broken English)
Not really sold at all on these Kotobukiya kits even after all these reviews, there just way to expensive for being so small and honestly kinda boring, at-least to me.
Hmm I suggest looking up Frame Arms kit bashing on a Google search or Pinterest. Kit bashing is the highlights of Frame Arms, I understand what your thoughts on these kits, I thought the same way at first. Until I saw a picture of a Frame Arms Girl inside exosuit with alot guns on it.
@@Blacktemplewarrior true.frame arms real potential is in customization and personalization.buying a Frame Arms/Frame arms girls and straight building it will not be fun as gunpla. the one hurdle is the price, but judging from the plastic quality and massive amount of leftover parts they give you i say frame arms is really for veteran/experienced collector/modeller

to me the Cutlass is like a mass production grunt unit to the Baselard.
According to the manual, the Cutlass is the improved ver of the Baselard.

I planning on getting this unit because I’m interested on getting the Frame Arms
just preordered the RE2 version of this guy. I'm excited to see what has changed since this video!

I love the design. I can see this maybe fit in with the bandai fmp kits
Why are kotobukiya kits so tricky to find at a decent price
this style is sleek and interesting. I like it
Frame Arms has really cool mechas.
Nice! Merry Christmas!
Think you could check out the Werewolf Specter?
Or the Type 32 zen rai! Both of the kit are great and they they come with all of the parts for the previous versions like the gou rai.

Probably the best looking frame arms imo
I like the jagd falx better, but this is cool too
YSX-24c would be the number 2 after SX-25.

Shadow tiger yes
Shoulders remind me of the Gundam Plutone
I really love the look of this kit ( different from Gundam ) . Do you know the cheapest and easiest way to purchase it from Australia ?
How is it different when it looks like a barbatos.
So do they have regular frame arms kits yet?
its the season of giving. is there any giveaway this xmas?
Is it loose?it look like a bit loose
XD I hate to say this but, it's a Kotobukiya kit meaning something going to be loose......or everything is loose.

THRUSTERS!
Frame Arms doesn't get a lot of love. Shame.
I pick Baselard over this kit because there is a Baselard frame arms girl version.
You mean “solidity” lol.
Get VangNex vibes from it...
Accurately, cheapest Baselard class FA.

@@hazukiryuu2029 I couldn't agree more
I would get the frame arms but I’m a broke boy
You can start with the cheapest one, T32M1 GOU-RAI.
@@LukyArakunedesu even at that price you can get one great MG/RG or some best-value HG such HGBF EzSR army. much much worth the money.
@@NickDyers I really like Gundam, only their anime series. But for collectibles, I like Frame Arms.
@@NickDyers In my region, GOU-RAI tagged USD 25-29
@@LukyArakunedesu ah i see. its around 40$ here.
Not a fan.
