    They mentioned that anyone can come out and compete. Thats sick! I'm definitely gonna be practicing with my recurve this summer. I've always been a traditional archery kinda guy. 🏹

      @@SamPeabody Oh I see, you're right. I thought we were talking technique or something changes the release.
      Saw her a couple times in vids since, looks like she always shoots that way with the index finger a little higher than others. Maybe it gives her slightly better control of vertical axis?

      @@SamPeabody Likewise here. I watch the top archers because they have such awesome composure, though I don't really know what I'm supposed to be looking for.
      One thing, though, Paige is an excellent mental athlete. She is never overconfident, but always solid.
      Dunno why but I find it easier sometimes to learn from women than men

    What age is considered Senior Womens? Not what I was expecting with these two or is senior more of a capability title like master or pro?

    • @alcheic3118
      @alcheic3118 9 месяцев назад

      For men it's 21 to 50, so I'd assume it's something similar for women. And yes, it is a title based on age.

    why do you think all shooters will hold their breath? You stated this about 17:15 .

    • @brendavanorden9550
      @brendavanorden9550 3 года назад +3

      @patrick henry But it causes other variables. Lack of o2 causes your focus to go first. Now look in the mirror at your shoulders and breath in and out. Your shoulders move up and down with each breath. I prefer to slowly breath in til the shot goes off. If you reach a full breath let down.

    • @KF1
      @KF1 3 года назад

      @@brendavanorden9550 When doing anything strenuous like drawing a bow or anythng hard, you'll naturally "trap" your breath to increase core power. I think holding the breath can just be a habitual result of that, because you're already doing it. maybe some just wait until loose to release, as it were.
