    Please do let go of this identity marker. Such a boring, shallow, narrow, predictable, and often hypocritical narrative trend in the arts. Trends are an enemy of art and originality, and an agent of control.

      I see her as an artist who is exploring the hybridity of her identity. It seems very personal to her family, her upbringing and who she is as a person- I personally don’t see the trend in her work but I’m intrigued by your comment
