    Wow, a 1982 demo full with killer blast beats. What an amazing piece of history.

    One of the greatest, most extreme pieces of h/c ever recorded. Up there with SIEGE, LARM, DISGUST (Netherlands), GEPOPOL, STANX, KORO, STARK RAVING MAD, DEEP WOUND, UNDERAGE (Italy), etc., for sheer speed and intensity.

    This and Siege are grindcore, the term just hadn't been coined yet. Sepultura, Obituary, Death, and other bands like that were just thrash bands before the term death metal became common; same with Metallica, Slayer, and such were just heavy metal bands until thrash was the common usage.
    And this demo is pure grind, no cream and sugar. Most grind bands don't hit this or the Siege level of intensity. :)

    • @lordifrit69
      @lordifrit69 3 года назад +3

      Grind has death and thrash guitar tones along with Hardcore and Crust(which is also metal punk and the father of Grind)riffing.
      How is this grind when death nor even thrash weren't made yet? I say this is just Scandinavian hardcore as Hardcore bands were the 1st in rock to try to go as fast as possible. There are Dead Kennedys and Bad Brains songs with blastbeats as well. According to Sarcofago, there was an entire hardcore scene in Finland which influenced the band to use blastbeats.

      but brigada do odio was later than the Asocial Band, and in 1981 therefore the crude blast beats were practiced by "Asocial" first but it is true that Brigada do odio are chaotic and crude, they are also a fan of it

      According to Discogs, it actually WAS recorded in 1982.
      No actual proof that I could see , but the demo is labeled "Demo '83", which makes it plausible that it was recorded in '82. - www.discogs.com/Asocial-Asocial-Attack-Demo-83-/release/9002946

      I think the best way to find out when this was actually recorded (AND released) would be to go on the Asocial page on Facebook and ask them, since it's an official page.

      @@tomparens1 wrong. The songs in this demo were first released in 1982 - the date is literally printed on the demo cover. Google is your friend.
      People have a hard time accepting that this band pioneered fast punk for some reason. They were doing this shit as early as '81. Leagues better than Discharge.
