I kind of wish overload was based off of your attack stat or something just to change up how characters are built. It’d also give some value to atk% pieces and weapons
wdym? atk% is used for lots of stats that aren't reaction based. you build atk to increase most character's personal dmg, and em to build their reaction dmg
No reaction scales off ATK and i don't get how would a TRANSFORMATIVE reaction scale off anything but em and levels. I think the real problem about overload is the knockback
@@idk-sy3iu That’s what I was getting at. It seems weird to me that it’s a transformative reaction. Super conduct and shatter are both transformative reactions as well but neither of them really benefit from em. I just think they’re a little out of place given the characters we have and the stats their kits revolve around and are a waste of stats. For example maybe those reactions could scale off of flat stats
Love your hype regarding how existing or left-behind characters can become revitalized by new releases. Team building dynamics are the best part of this game! I wish I could settle on a favorite team, but I never do so I spend half my login time trying out different teams hah
The resurgence of Jean and Noelle is one of my favorite things to come out of the 4.2 patch. I hope this trend continues. Hell, I am even using Qiqi on a couple of teams since she can heal all teammates at once.
I (Ryft) totally resonate with that. I built my Noelle recently and have been playing her with Furina so much. I totally agree with you on the hopes that this trend of bringing old characters into the meta somehow will continue moving forward. It just makes the game so much fun and even capitalizes on the type of game Genshin Impact really is. The ever-expanding team builds that grow as new characters release is just amazing. Also, thanks for watching and sharing your thoughts!@@PenguinDust1969
I think Chevreuse going to be Yoimiya Yae overload comp. You get healing, pyro/electro shred, ATK buffs. You can build gilded dream yae (EM) for overload yet still em could partially increase her E dmg, on field yoimiya received healing will also gain pyro dmg bonus
I tried a burning overload team with Dehya Nahida Kuki(c6) and Kazuha and I was pleasantly how fun and viable it is , still have to build Dehya for her burst to deal more than 6k per tick tho.
My idea to "Fix" overload is to give it forward and backward reactions. Forward reaction - Electro > Pyro: Big explosion, big damage, knocks enemies around. Reverse reaction - Pyro > Electro: No explosion, creates a magnetic field that pulls enemies to the center, less damage. This would encourage a playstyle where players will be incentivized to trigger the reaction in a certain order in order to create a certain effect, and the effects are symbiotic. I had a similar idea for Electro-Charged where the direction of the reaction would trigger a "Polarity", with one being Positive and one being Negative, and you would maximize damage by switching the polarity and applying the element in different orders. I feel like directional reactions is something kind of REALLY wasted on ATK-scaling reactions in terms of making reactions interesting. It would also give devs a lot more design space to come up with characters and abilities and equipment that leverages those nuances.
Overload is kinda fun lol,bc my kuki does 32k+ damage bc she's build full em,and i was shook that it does the same damage as hyperbloom😭 like the overload reaction just happens whenever she is near any fire source with her skill, and the poor enemies just get flung into the air before they die💀
That would definitely be pretty cool. I (Ryft) have built my Candace as a Hydro DPS, so it would pique my interest to see new characters utilizing synergy with Candace for sure. Thanks for the thought and also for watching the video!
You said you were Day 1 Genshin player but you didnt even mention Overload was nerfed when Diluc was using Overload comp and the enemies werent getting juggled that much back then.
You must love to hate, got nothing better to do? We have no clue what these characters will do, why can't we speculate something without someone like you getting mad because you don't agree?
@@kazutokirigiya-fe8oo I'm not mad, you can speculate as much as you like but that detail proved wrong for Navia, in the same exact cutscene so there's no reason to pay any mind to the weapon choices there.

That's what's so great about getting new characters. More teams and more fun builds! Glad you enjoyed it, thanks for watching😁

You mentioned how chlorinde uses iron sting as maybe a hint, navia used the whiteblind and she doesnt scale off defense lol.
this is the most excited I've been for a while, love this elemental reaction and love the character that will buff the reaction

Vixen tried this team, but without Gilded on Yae, and he liked it. We might have to see how Gilded works now. Thanks for watching!
i got ayato today i am happy to win my first 50/50 but now i am still on 50/50 i guess i make sure i have primos/summon for raiden if does come in 4.3

New geo electro reaction pulling enemies into place and preventing them from going flying go go go
Chevreuse C2 for the win, haha

It's a really fun reaction, and it seems like you got it to work well. Wonder what Chevreuse could turn your 32k into🤔 Thanks for watching!
I've been using a klee overload team since she dropped ^_^ I normally 36 star the abyss too
I Hope Alice does something for overload
That would be pretty cool. Very excited to see Alice as a playable character in the future!
Will Candace ever get a resurgence? Maybe if a new character really wants hydro infusion?

I wonder if cyno is gonna pop off, I accidentally pulled him 😂
He probably will since he is EM based.
