Man even that series had a few moments..People wanna say East wasn't as strong but look goin back, it was a dog fight almost every series especially with 1st round only 5 games
@@Bigedub101 It wasn't strong at all since the best teams were in the West, the 'moral' finals were usually the WCF, since the winner would beat whatever team made the finals from the East. There are some exceptions of course, the 2004 Pacers,2004-2005 Pistons and the 2006 Heat were very strong. Overall, the East may not have been as strong as the west, but it was very competitive. The East in 2001 was much more entertaining to watch in my opinion than the West, although it was great to watch that Lakers play.

You're saying everybody else was a pretender, but the entire East was full of teams that were not going to win a championship that year. In 2002, the Kings were a powerhouse. For most of the 2000s, the East was much weaker than the West and filled with teams that were not going to beat the best teams of the West.
all these teams have hof's on both sides but the highlights are so one sided.....balance it out......you should 1 portland highlight dunk in a 7 game series I believe!
