Please do a UK Gotterdammerung next Mark, I want to see 617 Squadron do their thing with Barnes Wallace wonder weapons plus want to know what can the Bloodhound SAM do against Rockets/Missiles if anything?
Not sure how I feel about special projects. Italy had cruiser subs in 35 but won't get them till 37 😅 and now have to wait to get midget subs too even though they was produced quite alot before the war started.
Hi Mark, I'm commenting a day or two after you posted; I'm trying to catch up on RUclips viewing. I think I'm going to reserve judgement on this until I've seen a few more videos. I definitely have opinions, but I want to see if they're fair and correct.
So far my thoughts are that it does add some interesting sci-fi ideas to the game that players who are maybe tired of playing the same campaigns for years might enjoy. It does move away from the feeling of a WW2 game somewhat with these special projects, but then some nations did attempt to build ridiculous contraptions during the war. What I have noticed however is I spend much more time clicking boxes and opening menus than I used to and I'm not too keen on that. The new German focus trees are also immense and while they do open up lots of new options, they require quite a bit of forward planning to work your way around.
This one will be played out live over here on the streaming channel, but I'll leave the streams up for anyone who wishes to watch afterwards. The UK playthrough will continue (I've finished recording it now).
I played as Austria and apparently you can stop the Germans completing the Anschluss which will prevent them starting WW2
I heard that was possible, thats quite funny :D
I really enjoyed this one.
Glad you liked it, part 2 will be along tomorrow.

The bouncing bombs would be interesting to see but I'm worried the game is moving away from a WW2 wargame. I'll look into those other things though.
@@MarkGFL Not just bouncing bombs, Tall boys on Tirpitz, Earthquake Bombs on V2/V3 sites etc, I'm hoping the UK gets some sweet choices :)

Is this going to be a seris mark aswell as the UK playthrough?
