We have a 1/8 scale and a 1/5th scale track that I took it to. It did well on both tracks are they are much wider than the 1/10 track. The turns are banked so that makes it really easy. We had to turn the steering down to keep from oversteering. Other than that I can't wait for the Proline tires designed for 1/8 scale tracks. The Promoto is the most fun I had with an RC since the first 6s XMAXX came out.
There's times little rocks wedge in the chain happened a few times on me. And the launch from the pipe was so funny the rc was gone too fast onto the ground 😂
Great vid guys! Man I miss my old stomping grounds. How’s Bob? I came to the same conclusion as you about the track design, it needs to be built for the bikes. Out here in Vegas, the silver bowl compels is what we have and it’s just not set up for these.
We technically can ship to the UK, but we typically don’t as we don’t have a good international shipping option, so it ends up being super expensive. If you email us your address to info@nankinhobby.com, I can get you a quote, but realistically it will probably be more crazy expensive to have us ship something sizable to you.
We can definitely do that in a future video. There’s a firmware update required iirc, so that seems like a good thing to go over for sure! Not sure what the actual reason is, but Horizon hasn’t shipped the green ones to anyone yet. The green one is a different package with battery and charger, so it could be something related to that and not the bike itself, but no idea why for sure. It’s definitely not just your local shop, though, that’s the boat everyone is in.
It would definitely depend on the track, but I think it’s still too early to say for sure how this class would work logistically. We didn’t even have two of them available from the first shipment to play with, so it’s hard to feel that sort of a thing out. As far as the radio signal is concerned, number of bikes shouldn’t be a problem at all.
Absolutely you can pop the side cover off there is a extra a slot in the receiver and you can double side sticky tape it on the bike and the side plastic cover goes back on with no issue

I heard the FLY-WHEEL has Different Speeds.... 1: LOWER SPEED for Sharp Corners.
2: MAX SPEED for Streight Line Stability.
can you test it with a dx5?

Nice video how many racers can race at a time with these bikes
