Good review, fyi the maint part (greasing the shaft, changing impeller) is quite a bit of work, not simple like a regular non-impeller boat. A grease port would have been a great add for this..;

I added some brass portal covers to the front and removed the low hanging trailer hitch. It significantly helped without changing the looks of the truck, which is why we bought it. I’m not sure it’s worth going with overdrive, and wider stance etc. At some point you’re taking away all the reasons to purchase this awesome looking version of the TRX-4.

You can use on multiple aircraft. Just to repeat. Almost as bad as being ratioed.

Cool video. The correct Traxx is being sold with a Bonus set of wheels/tires included with the purchase. And, to buy the Traxx set of four is actually $200 if purchased as an accessory. My dual stage foams in super swampers appear to be much softer than yours. Mine are always aired down looking. I got my scx6 used though so maybe they have broken down a lot

I just finished this model too. I struggle using tamiya weathering powder cause it doesnt have the adhearance I want, I use artist pastels now.

Lots of complaints about the base camp body being boring. In my opinion that’s a positive. Anyone who uses this knows it’s getting banged up, dragged across the rocks etc. when I go out I’m not concerned about beating up the truck , scratches , marks . It’s nice to just focus on what you’re doing, testing the capabilities of the truck .
