In almost every school in Finland, we use wilma app, which have lot of messaging features and also a basic calendar function which sees updates (im not sure does it notify you about changes, other than day or time changes).
My main problem is sharing the events with my spouse. For that though I just use a shared google calendar. I do think this is a clever use of a lambda. It might be nice to add events to dynamo and have this serve the last 50 which would give more time for calendars to catch up.
Sharing via Google calendar is of course proprietary internal functionality. With Google Calendar, I cannot work out how to subscribe to a URL like addevent.dabase.com/
@@kaihendry hyprland works really good for me, your mileage may vary. It seems pretty solid, I gave myself a week of testing and I don't want to go back.
@@kaihendryyes. I am all in Wayland and Sway. I run it on all my computers. Which is a lot these days. ;) Don't try swayfx just yet. It's not generally available pre packaged in most distros.
@@kaihendry I currently use wofi-clipman instead of copyq because I wanted to test the hyprland workflow in general. Copyq's ability to paste in the last focused window is something I haven't had time to figure out in wofi-clipman yet. Copyq wasn't working although it should. I am still adding and tweaking little things as I go along. For screenshots I use wayshot instead of flameshot and Kanshi for display Layout. John Oberhauser of Mozilla has some great config files on GitHub.

Have you given Wayland another try since sway?
Nope, should I?

Is the clipboard usable ? 😆
