  • While uncommon for railway station elevators, this elevator serves multiple levels. There is a basement, but it is locked off. The elevator also stops at an intermediate level, where there is not much besides stairs leading up to platform level or down to ground level, respectively. At the other platform, there is an elevator similar to this one, except it is older and only serves two floors ( • Hütter hydraulic glass... ). Both elevators need to get their roller guides oiled as they probably cause the weird noise while the cabs are moving.
    Technical specifications:
    Brand: Hütter
    Capacity: 1100kg / ~2425lbs / 14 people
    Type: hydraulic (inground two-stage)
    Year built: 2001
    Travel distance: 4 stops

the two lifts at Dammtor station have now been replaced by MRL traction ThyssenKrupp ones. The new lifts have quite dull rectangular basic cabs. Now as I saw this video, I am VERY sick of how they modernized these lifts. They ruined them. I really like the round shape. Totally stupid they built rectangular new lift cabs in here now!
