    Carol - You are not my one and only, but you were my first and you and Mike are definitely my favorite. Your primitive style and beautiful stitching and finishing, your expertise and suggestions combined with your banter make for a video I always look forward to. And I think you should make YOUR videos just as long or as short as YOU want then to be!!!!!

    Wow, you and Mr Saltbox in your younger days! (whistling!) He's very tall! I'm starting a couple patriotic pieces for Maynia. I don't have enough to display. I think an hour of listening to you talk about and show your stitching works for me👍🏽😁

    It is true. The sharing is wonderful, whether or not you have an LNS. Floss tubes are motivating. Yours has humor and soooo many beautiful pieces. And you’re also a mirror for us to look in! “Why haven’t I completed this? Why haven’t I started this? I need to get this done!” I just love watching you. Thank you for sharing. ❤

    You know the saying, Carol "Sharing is caring". When I was going to my local EGA meetings, one.of most fun things was everyone.looking and discussing each other's stitching. I love seeing ALL of it.😊

    Hi Carol! I read a couple of comments and I agree with these ladies…don’t sell yourself short! I would love to meet and sit with you and just chat and pick your brain about cross stitching and quilting! And I love the interaction between you and your husband! He’s so sweet! Also so tall! 😅Lol! Love seeing all your stitching and WIPS and finished projects and what you wanna stitch! Happy travels with your sister and happy stitching!

    Thank you for another wonderful video. Your stitching is amazing. I loved seeing your picture from a hundred years ago. What a good looking couple you two are. My best to Mr. Saltbox. Have a great week and happy stitching. Oh, I don't think making a working copy from your friend's chart is wrong since you both purchased the pattern. I say go for it.

    Carol, you mentioned you’re a jaguar fan! My grandson )9 years old) loves the jags. He wants me to make him a quilt of all the NFL teams EXCEPT cowboys and bears. My JoAnn’s has very few teams and to order online it’s a minimum of 2 yards! If you happen to be by JoAnn’s and they have jags I would love a yard and I’ll send payment right away.

      Send me an email www.saltboxquilts@gmail.com and I’ll check next time I go to Joann’s. They should definitely have it late summer when it’s closer to football season.

    I appreciate YOU so much ! I’m one of those stitchers with no LNS so I love seeing what you’ve done🌸 I’ve been in Scattered Samplings one year, and agree, I’ve never received anything so beautifully packaged. Might be time to sign up again! Also love your quilts, what’s in the background this time ?

    Thanks Carol for another wonderful flosstube. Your samplers are gorgeous and you have so many wonderful smalls. What if you spent a whole month doing smalls? I wonder how many you could complete, it would be very interesting. Thanks to Mr Saltbox for his wonderful contributions to your Chanel. Thanks I brought the series from scattered seed, I just love those birds. Love and blessings xx

    Hi Carol, When you were talking about the project Your a Grand Old Flag and said you had 2 different shades of Flax, you were showing Sage and Flax. Don't feel bad about not getting to everything. I have 60 finishes, but just started FFOing them. I have gotten 7 done and still stitching. If you don't have another video done before you leave, have a wonderful time!!!

    Dear lady, you did not fib, you misspoke. It's not like it was intentional - somewhere in your brain you thought (hoped) the house was complete. Give yourself a break! It's lovely. And quite frankly, your videos are as long as they should be. There are many flosstubes I don't mind pausing and coming back to. Some are so long I give up. I also like consistent floss drops, and use the same ones you do, as they were available long before the floss card exchange. As always, enjoyed the pattern, floss, and fabric talk, and repartee with hubby.

    Hi my friend! Get busy on those smalls, I want to see what they look like all finished! 😂 You have such a nice collection of patriotic smalls and I need to stitch more of those myself, so thanks for sharing. Wish I were going to the retreat with you in May, it sounds fun! Happy stitching til next time!! 🪡🧵🪡✂️✂️✂️🌞🌹🌹💕💕💕

    Always love seeing your progress, Carol! And your finished patriotic projects are gorgeous. I'm hoping to stitch Liberty's Welcome some day. I also think it would be perfectly acceptable to make a better quality working copy of Anne Raynor since both you and your friend own and purchased the charts. Nothing wrong with making things easier on yourself.

  • @chrisc4518
    @chrisc4518 5 месяцев назад

    Ann Raynor has been OOP for too long! Love it. Who is the designer? Why don't they reprint it? Glad to watch you stitch it. Since you have the chart, you should be allowed to copy a clearer chart for your working copy. My opinion. Thanks for sharing. The closest needlework shop to me is 1 1/2 hours away.

    • @saltboxstitcher
      @saltboxstitcher  5 месяцев назад

      My understanding is that the designer passed away and so the rights to it are long gone. Sadly!

    Really enjoy your videos! The samplers, smalls, upcoming starts, wip’s…I like them all! You mentioned at the start of the video about printing free charts & kitting them as gifts is a great idea. Most look small and would be a quick stitch & memory of the event. This patriotic stitching season will be fun! Have fun with your sister.
