Tim wrote this before he joined Home Free. Story is he was working as a songwriter leading up a team of songwriters when the guy they all worked for came in one day and informed them that from then on they'd be writing country music exclusively. Tim didn't want to write country music, so he went home, drank an entire bottle of Jack Daniels, and decided to write the most ridiculous country song ever, and this is the result. It's been one of Home Free's most popular originals.
In case you didn't notice, the bearded cowboy who sauntered by (and is seen on the bull in the background during the ending scene) is Avi Kaplan from Pentatonix. He lent his bass for this song as well as Ring of Fire, both of which are featured on Home Free's first album.
I didn't even see him walk by until at least the 10th time I saw it. I have now seen it upwards of 20 times and never noticed he was on the mechanical bull until @focuselp mentioned it.
Did you catch the cameo by Avi Kaplan (black cowboy hat with the dark beard who zipped across the front of the bar scene)? He was the original bass for Pentatonix (replaced several years ago and started a solo career) and was the second bass for Home Free's cover of "Ring of Fire."
Did you notice Avi Kaplan, from Pentotonix, bumping beer glasses with Tim. Near the end of the video lol love this song Tim Foust wrote! So relatable! Great reaction 🎉 I love Home Free😊
3:19 that's Avi Kaplan from Pentatonix scooting across the screen in a black cowboy hat - - he sat in on Ring of Fire with Home Free so you had Tim and Avi two of the best bass singers on the planet together doing that song - - makes me wonder if he joined in singing this one too, I'm guessing he did
Home Free has a great sense of humor. If you watch a live concert video you’ll see it. That’s what so fun about them. Tim (lead singer here) wrote this one. They have a number of originals. What’s great is that they can be serious or silly and they don’t shy away from tough subjects either. For more fun- Hillbilly Bone, Butts Medley, Sea Shanty Medley. Serious- Helplessly Hoping, I Can’t Outrun You, In the Blood. Good reaction Adam.
This was written by Tim Foust himself. I don't know if you noticed but Avi from Pentatonix was the one in the cowboy hat that walked passed them and ended up one the bull in the background. Always enjoy watching your reactions.
Yayyyyyyy!!!!!! I'm so glad you did this one! It's so fun! And if you missed it, Avi Kaplan from PTX made an appearance... epic! They have so many fun songs & videos. You Crack me up with the flat beer...lol Have you done all about that bass?? So fun
This was Great‼️‼️‼️💥…..Tim wrote it, of course…LOLOL…Love his sense of humor ❤️🥰😂‼️ Tomorrow’s a new release…”WORKIN FOR A LIVIN”….. Chance does lead…it’s a Good one 👍🥰💥‼️ Thank You for your reaction 👍💥‼️
"My Mother Told Me" by Voiceplay is a perfect listen, and if you enjoy Geoff (the bass singer) he does multiple covers on his own, including the immaculate "Sixteen Tons"
So I was watching and you wanted names of all the guys so here ya go... Tim=Bass he wrote this song. He is the one in the overalls (dungarees) (turns girls into women with his voice) Adam Rupp= beatboxer white tee shirt Adam Chance= tenor scruffy teadybear Austin Brown= tenor makes love to the camera with his eyes Rob Lundquist =bearded teadybear Some of the older videos also has Adam Rupps brother Chris who left the group to do solo stuff. Also absolutely react t I the Butts Medely! Just subbed! Welcome to the Home Fries!
I love their funny videos! But of course I love their serious ones too! My favorite ones are: In the Blood, Helplessly Hoping, Your Man (both official and a live concert one), How Great Thou Art, How About That Bass, and about 50 more! Thanks for your reaction!
That high-crown, wide-brimmed black Stetson hat is a defining piece of attire for Avi? He appears to enjoy playing the part of the notorious outlaw “Black Bart”?
This was recorded on the same day as Ring of Fire. In that video Avi replaces his trademark beanie hat for the Stetson. A way of saying he was done with his PTX 'pop style' music and was going more 'country'. (IMHO)
@@focuselp it was awhile before Avi left Pentatonix. Chris Rupp tells the story about the hat in the Behind the Scenes he did on Ring of Fire ft Avi Kaplan ruclips.net/video/rFdnzwkcD_c/видео.html
@@gailseatonhumbert9199 I checked out the link and it had a lot of details about this black Stetson hat. I've watched many reactions to this song and you are the only one to comment on the flat beer 😂. Great reaction as always! If you like Tim singing lead might I suggest Friends In Low Places. Its a Garth Brooks song they did incredibly well.
AdamReacts you should watch their amazing grace and if you haven't seen it yet the video where Tim literally blows a speaker while their doing a concert in Morrison Illinois every time I watch the video of Tim Foust breaking the sound system I can't help but laugh because it is always unexpected.
Hey Adam, I think you’d be pleasantly surprised with Home Free’s “role reversal” performance of Mayday by Cam. That’s all I can say without giving away the surprise. Let’s see if you can spot it 😊
Tim wrote this as a bit of a joke, and it took off like crazy much to his astonishment. Austin (I believe) wrote a song "Full Of Cheer" and the guys joked that it was the sequel to this one. I'm not sure if it was Austin or Tim that wrote Full Of Cheer but someone will correct me if I got it wrong. Please check it out for your Home Fries Thanks.
Check out more of their originals!!! * Dive Bar Saint * Remember This * Any Way The Wind Blows * Catch Me If You Can * Timeless * Good Ol' Country Harmony * It Looks Good You won't be disappointed🔥🔥
I started by watching your reaction to voiceplay oogie boogie song. Then after 10 more video's I realised I should probably subscribe to you cuz you kept me here
Have you done hillbilly bone or all about th a bass both? Thank God I'm a country boy all 3 are funny. More serious mayday and brother in arms. Also listen to the music is very good.
Not having seen how the beer was poured it’s hard to say if it’s flat or not, but in a bar it ain’t likely the bartender would be around long if it didn’t have a nice head on it.
Flat pints/drinks! I don't think they're actually flat, but believe that in the USA, unlike us Brits do not do a 'head' on their alcoholic drinks! So looks flat!

Funniest part is Rob rowing without a paddle. Everybody misses the 'up the creek without a paddle' reference for this story.
OMG, I have watched this dozens of times and I missed Rob without a paddle. Their videos are so much fun.
Missed that reference too. I don't expect a country music song to be so cerebral. Tim Foust is too fancy for his shirt - literally!

You will notice that AVI does a quick appearance in this as an extra....this was shot right after they did Ring of Fire, so he was still around....:)
Did you notice Avi on the Bronco in the background at the end?
@@focuselp Totally missed it the first time! 😂
Omg I’ve seen this video at least a dozen times and I’ve never noticed Avi’s cameo 🤯

I didn't even see him walk by until at least the 10th time I saw it. I have now seen it upwards of 20 times and never noticed he was on the mechanical bull until @focuselp mentioned it.
That was Avi Kaplan from Pentanix who crossed in front of them in the bar scene with a beer.
More Home Free reactions? Absolutely! It doesn't matter how often I've seen their videos, I love watching reactions, especially those like yours.
Hello Debbie how are you doing today?
thanks Debbie!
Any video with Rob whistling is awesome. Bro, you gotta check out “The Butt’s Medley.” Lol
Agreed, you will laugh your @$$ off
Most definitely!!! That is an absolute must! Plus country fried pop Melody!
Yes he does.
Fun reaction, even Avi's guest 'walk through' was fun. Great reaction!
Ha, that was hilarious! I just love their sense of humor. Another great and very funny song is their version of "Honey I'm good".
Yes!!!! The video is awesome! But the LIVE concert version is mind blowing!
First, the sound was a burp! Next, Tim's drink is flat cause it's probably tea. Tim wrote this song and it received radio play YEARS ago.
The bottle or can opening is shortly after the burp.

Yes, original means their material. In this case written by the bass, Tim Faust.
Home Free is releasing a cover of Working for a living by Huey Lewis tomorrow 8/27 @1:00 p.m. EST
Love your positivity Adam. You're adorable.
Got to give Rob the master Whistler award

Hello Brenda how are you doing today?
That was so fun and you are hilarious!!! ❤️🤣❤️
If you didn't know, the guy walked in front of the camera, at the bar, with the beard and beer, was Avi from Pentatonix. :)
Loving your reactions adam!
Tim stopped drinking years back. That was Avi Kaplan who made the cameo.
love to keep seeing the home free and voiceplay reactions! you should check out Elvira from Home Free, another great one
Avi's cameo and Tim's sideways glance/shrug at Avi walking made me laugh.

I wanna see you do Watch Do you hear what I hear.
Plus you have to watch Full of Cheer.
It is the sequel to this song
Watch some of these live... Especially the "All About That Bass" Live video... Thanks for the smile 🙂
If you thought that one was fun then The Butts Remix is an absolute must.
cant wait to watch it!
Great as always!!! 🏡🍟
This is an original, I believe was written by Tim Foust. Funny song, with a video to match.
When your facial expression changed, I thought you saw that it was Avi Kaplan that walked by. 😁

Yes Avi did a cameo! So you did see him.

I like Ari Kaplan's cameo!

They do a video with Kenny Rogers that's really good too children, Go where I send thee. And Elvira that one is really good too check it out

For the video, it's likely that they used Apple juice. Lol. Looks like beer, yet looks a lot more flat, and you can do as many takes as you want.
Have you done hillbilly bone or all about th a bass both? Thank God I'm a country boy all 3 are funny. More serious mayday and brother in arms. Also listen to the music is very good.

I hate to break it to you, but all of the most popular American beers produce almost ZERO head. It's a sad state of affairs.
