450,000 Turks live in the Netherlands. The döner sold in Dutch Turkish döner shops are mainly the German döner version. I think it was once introduced by German Turks.
But the döner has developed further in the Netherlands. For example, Turkish döner shops also sell the Dutch version döner, also known as 'kapsalon'. That's fries topped with döner meat, vegetables, melted cheese and garlic or spicy sauce. 'Kapsalon' is now the most popular döner version in the Netherlands and in the German border regions.

Kebabs are super common in the UK. Thry vary massively in quality. Lamb is common but you can get beef in that style. You can get chicken too, but it isnt shaved in long strips the same. Its actually graded in quality i believe when you buy it proper from a wholesale place. Some of the poor ones are mushy, crumbles in bits, you get bones in it and no flavour just all spice

Donner kebabs are really popular after a night out in England - maybe only pizza is more popular - my local did both pizzas and kebabs and the guys who ran it were from Turkey and a great laugh. We would always go after a night out or when I worked in a nightclub go after before heading home - good times, great food, and if someone had ordered a pizza but left before it was ready we would get it on the cheap which happened more than you'd think

No matter where you eat in the world, you won't find the taste of doner kebabs and kebabs in Turkey because cows and sheep are fed in natural environments and their tastes are different. You will realize this when you eat it in TURKEY. Moreover, the variety in Turkish breakfast is not available anywhere else. All family members sit down and chat. On top of that, Turkish coffee is drunk.

90% of all the pizzs places near me are run by Turks, so they naturally do kebabs too. Several chippies are the same, joining in selling kebab meat. Even many of those aren't run by English. Traditional English chippy is getting rare. A good chippy doesn't need to be selling kebabs and chicken fillet burgers

I have read many horror stories of the origin of the meat, and they are not urban legend. There are genuine court papers available along with the culprits' names, their birth dates, etc. I'm not talking about cannibalism (although I'd rather eat "that" than some rancid roadkill), but whatever floats your boat.
Disclaimer: there must be a handful of these restaurants that do not cut corners.
