I spent my childhood working with my Dad on his 1960 2 door impala. It was a 3 speed on the column, we put bucket seats and a center console in it from a Ford Thunderbird. All of that was done in the 1970's. I'm currently trying to find the car. My dad passed away about 5 years ago, and so far, no luck. It was awesome riding in that car, everyone in town knew my dad and the car was a standout. He had it painted Roman Red with red diamond pleat leather interior. Hope I find it soon and get it back in my family. This car you guys are showing is beautiful! Wish me luck!
My grandfather had the exact same car in 61.but stock white wall bias ply tires w/wheel cover.love that dash & steering wheel.it's got a good fumble to it also .very sweet.
Well, looks like I have a new favorite car at Coyote. The old school Impalas are one my favorites, 60 is an iconic year and cortez silver with the red interior is one of my favorite color combinations from GM. Not a fan of the painted drums, but none the less, gorgeous car. ;)
Great looking car guys, still bumming about to 67 GTO blue convertible you had 3 months ago really wanted that car but covid-19 screwed everything up for me hopefully I'll see another one. Keeping my fingers crossed
Would paint the brake drums cast gray and install some Cragar S/S wheels (can not stand big inch wheels and tires), otherwise the car is perfect, my biggest problem would be to find a garage big enough to fit it in!
Dash, curved glass the interior/exterior chrome it just doesnt get more USA Pride like . Id only make some subtle changes other wise this is ready to cruise.
AWESOME RIDE... Had one in the 70s... Who in their right Mind would put those Silly Ass wheels on a Classic . i will NEVER Understand that Mind set.... BTW it's NOT a Bubble Top ....
Beautiful car! Kind of abusive on your test drive. Is a sweet running cruiser, why the need to drive it so hard? Really like this Impala! Nice walk around video.
Awesome car Chevy forever my friend has an Impala less than a hundred thousand miles for $3,500 interior exterior pretty good shape the car doesn't need painting I'll bug him about find me a car you found it kept it for self but Imma get the car I miss my Chevelle 69 was a great year
ITS FUNNY HOW SOO MANY PEOPLE HAVE OPINIONS THE CAR AND WHAT THEY WOULD’VE DONE, BUT THE PERSON WHO RESTORED IT RESTORED TO HIS LIKING NOT YOURS!!!!! When I restore my 1960 biscayne I can care less what some muscle head or car enthusiast has to say because I’m restoring it to my taste and I’m the one driving it . ITS MY CAR DONT TRY TO DICTATE HOW IT SHOULD LOOK
i mean the car is soo pretty. IMO the wheels are too big look like 20's 18's would be better even 16's if you could drop the car about 5 or 6 inches. . love the AM mags those are right. It just sits too high for me. she's a heartbreaker for sure. maybe a highboy is the way to go with this car. But she's not a drag car so put her down on the street where she belongs. Thank you for this nice post.

Lance Manyon I agree with you!!! Who cares what these other guys say because it’s not their preference. I’ve seen the same wheels just smaller on other classics and people think the car is beautiful. Out past the corn field where the woods got heavy, out in the back seat of my 60 Chevy ❤️
We were young and restless and bored...
I love the dash of these '60's

***The EXACT SAME CAR? This is a 1960---NOT a 1961! 2 TOTALLY DIFFERENT BODY STYLES!***LMAO***
I think it's possible to own a 1960 in 1961. That's what he's talking about.

Wow going thru RUclips and found my car . I own it now in California
This exact car, how do you like it?
Beautiful ride ! All around awesome car !
Damn this thing is beautiful!
Great car and them 'pimped' up with those wheels !!
Rubber band tires esp on big cars,..ugh. Oh well rest of the car is nice. Easy to change wheels, n Tires.
Wish that one was in the budget. Sweet.
Very nice! Great video guys!

Cool car, beautiful 😍
That's a gorgeous car. The bubble top was strictly for 61 though.
Chevy's "Bubble tops" (Technically Chevy named them "Sport Coupes") were available models on 1961 Impalas & Belairs & 1962 Belairs (only).
Beautiful
Curious how much?
She's a beauty!
that is sharp sharp sharp....not keen on the rims/tires though...thats just me though
Old school would look better (to me).
Dash, curved glass the interior/exterior chrome it just doesnt get more USA Pride like .

Love bubbletop impalas, beautiful car but if it was mine is drop it down a few inches but it's not mine.
Dude sounds exactly like Chris Farley in Tommy Boy.
Love the car. Not the wheels.
Okay how much???
She's a Bute Clark. Sitting way to high off the ground. it needs to be lowered. Too much red in the interior too. But I still would buy it.
Where are the original hubcaps and wheels ? The fine car would have also had slender whitewalls
How much did this impala sold for?

Not bad but I would be rolling with some baby moon hubcaps!
Chrome reverse wheels....mayyybe Cragar SS. I cant see putting any modern hot rod wheel on these otherwise.

Beautiful ! 😎...but sits way too high, ...and wheels let it down- needs something like wide whites and chrome smoothies 👍😋
I would like to drive that car i would have fun
That’s not a bubble top. Bubble top was only on the 61.
Chevy's "Bubble Tops" (2 door Sport Coupes) were on the line-up for the 1961 Impala, Belair & the 1962 Belair.
Nice 🇺🇲
Ugly wheels and tire. Wayyyyy too big. 15 inches is best.
You're to old .
No shi t ,I'm 63 & I do like the chrome but 20s are a good look on that .I would drop it down a few inches though.

Too bad it doesn't have the original wheels,it would be worth more. Those rims look very thuggish.
What is thuggish? They are race wheels that happen to be 20s so what makes it thuggish?

Ummm we did show the engine bay

Tell the Dork to quit worrying about the darn radio. We want to hear the car. You should go for a ride by yourself and leave the Dork there.
All you have to do is Jack it up and throw the wheels away
Yes nice car crap rims why do people like them. On classic cars
