Excellent mega structure! With love from Bulgaria

Beautiful bridge! WOW. Wonderful investment that will benefit the people of Crimea. Bravo!
The bridge will benefit Ukranians too who wish to visit Georgia and Socchi.

Sure, cause Putin is the most democratic, human rights loving president out there. It's incredible how it has become trendy to be anti-west and pro all these bizarre regimes that are imprisoning and killing their journalists and dissidents.
Most of Crimeans like to be part of Russia! And no matter what UN talks!
The fact of the matter is that an overwhelming majority of countries do not recognise Russia's sovereignty over Crimea. Yes, just like all sovereign states, they happen to be UN members, but even if the UN disbanded tomorrow, Russia would still find itself isolated.
In 2014 Crimean's exercised their legal right to a referendum, and 97% voted in favor of joining the Federation.
TD, there lies your problem. The referendum met with rejection worldwide.
Not true. One of the conditions of the Crimean's was that the region will be allowed to join the Russian Federation. The Russian government accepted the terms. Russia did not reject.
TD, I am talking about the world at large, and you're talking about a single country, Russia, that also engineered the annexation of Crimea to begin with. Of course they didn't reject the referendum that "validated" their illegal actions.
It's just a matter of time before it gets blown.
Aged so well

I remember when we built the Confederation Bridge in Canada that links the province of Prince Edward Island to New Brunswick and that is only 13km long. But it led to increased tourism and potato exports from the island. Hopefully this new bridge will benefit the people in the Crimea too.
I like Canada, thank you, friend😉🇨🇦🇷🇺.
U mean benefit the genocide of a race and destruction of a country?
In just a lil bit over two years no less. This is an engineering marvel whether you like Putin or not.
And ahead of schedule AND under budget AND despite being subject to sanctions. In the US that never happens with all the fat that goes along with building anything
Crimean Bridge: 19 km, US$ 3 billion. $158M per km.
Hangzhou Bay Bridge: 35.7 km, US$ 1.4 billion. $38M per km.
No wonder that Crimean Bridge was constructed under budget. All bribes and loyalties to russian oligarch Rotenberg were included in the initial budget)
Agreed. They should be proud.
@@gravelking2.071 cost of materials is no doubt cheaper in China. Why not compare with western European costs to similar projects.
@@kabzaify Ok, let's compare to Øresund Bridge between Sweden and Denmark. 16 km, total cost 3 billion US dollars. Sounds roughly similiar to Crimean bridge if not to mention that worker's salary in Sweden and Denmark is 5-6 times higher than in Russia, as well as materials.

And now, in 2022, Ukraine has taken its revenge on Russia by destroying this bridge. And with the war that Russia is currently waging against Ukraine, it would be interesting to know if any of the many people who posted glowing, positive praise for this video might possibly have changed their opinions.
Oh wow, you think that one would change his opinion about this stunning mega-project because Ukraine/the Anglo-American Empire committed a terrorist act in order to destroy it, also murdering the commuters on the bridge. Same with the two Nordstream gas pipelines.
This kind of actions just show who are the people who create the mega-projects for the sake of humanity and who are the terrorists who destroy them to retain their hegemony. Don't forget that Kiev didn't implement the Minsk agreements to end the civil war in Donbass because the USA prefered to use Ukraine in a proxy war against Russia.
You have to think a little bit clearly. The Americans provoked this war following the Berngitsky doctrine. If RussiaUkraine and Belarus were to consolidate their resources, they would form a major power in the balance of scales. A new world based on respect and understanding would be formed. You warched avatar way of water. The forest people have to adapt in water, no one doubts their Valor and might but they have to see the world has changed. We the free will not live in a new Roman empire

They voted to be part of Russia. In 1783, Queen Catherine the great decided to liberate some kingdoms ruled for a number of centuries by the Ottomaan empire. Few American lawmakers with no knowledge of the old world seem to oppose Russians for no reason. The modern day American people / lawmaker is naive, and think just like the native American dead leaders, such as Pocahoncho and Sitting Bull and Pontiac. . Few American lawmakers are upset with Queen Catherine the great as she created a country called Ukraine in 1783 in the villages surrounding Kiev, while putting predominantly Russian speaking Crimea into Russia in 1783. I think she did the right thing by putting Crimea in Russia.
In July 4th 1776, about 100 mostly rich Americans and one poor postman sat together in Boston and signed a peace of paper that they will fight for an independent America which is to be independent from Great Britain, attain independence in about a decade, in about 1786 or soon after. The first president George Washington assumed office in 1789, well before American lawmakers decided to ask Pontiac to oppose Crimean locals who wanted to be part of Russia. So, let's stop opposing Russia and Crimea, I would like to appeal to fellow American lawmakers of today, and help Russia out , not just Ukraine. I am originally from rural Batesville, from the deep south.
