Kyle and Doug are truly great friends . Both are very knowledgeable and always willing to help a friend out. My son is extremely blessed to have crossed paths with these two guys. It should be noted that they do this with no expectation for payment. They are just happy to help a friend out, but I will admit, they do have a lot fun doing it! Thank you Kyle and Doug!
I love the build Adam. You may have already done this but hurricane ties should get screws in all of the holes. The theatrics made me laugh especially the tripping part and neighbor Doug's role - "he knows how to do everything whether he's done it or not". Precious. Thanks for the video as always, Todd in NH.
This is exactly what I'd like to build. Only it will probably take me weeks to make this much progress 😂. Looking forward to seeing this thing come together.
This was the one I was waiting for. I have learned the hard way that when the pro’s are at our house for a project, I stay out of the way. I too stick around in case they need something handed up to them, or just refill their water bottles. We just finished a deck redo a couple weeks ago. The fellow who did it is a real pro at finish carpentry, so replacing the decking, skirt boards & steps was child’s play for him. He devoted his weekends to our project as he works as a finish carpenter on very very expensive homes. He also installed a really nice aluminum railing system. Watching him figure the angles was amazing. One thing we did find out, 35 or so years ago when we built the original deck, the carpenters then treated “brown wood”, Osmose, from Menards. The guys building the deck then used standard Phillips head screws. When my friend and I started the demo work on the deck we were amazed that the chemical in the wood literally ate the screws was down to a pencil lead size. He used ceramic coated fasteners this time around. As far as we know they are impervious to any preservative chemicals in the wood. After the demo was done, he went around and added ceramic coated fasteners to all of the exposed wood that we could see where the old fasteners were. This should ensure that the bones of the deck stay good and strong. We noticed too, after removing the decking that the stringers were split from to hole were from the decking screws had been. Our guy suggested to sister 2 x 6 pressure-treated lumber to the original 2 x 10’s. We then covered the tops of the new wood and the old stringers with a 3” wide tape to help keep the water out of the old wood, and help protect the new wood. Our carpenter said the two by tens will still carry the load, but we used the 2x6’s to attach the new decking. The afore mentioned tape also comes in 6” width. Also we used cedar this time around. See you in the next episode.
Brilliant video, you are blessed, particularly for an ex accountant! Seriously though, look how far you have come, 141,000+ subscribers, c.2,900 views in under an hour, people must like your channel!
Adam nice job and thanks to your friends So which of your friends fell down it the beginning I’m Joe from Connecticut I dig your channel Thanks for sharing
when you do projects like this, i think it would be cool if you set a camera a little ways back and made a separate video with a time lapse of the whole project. but awesome job guys!
WOW 😮. Man, that's just Beautiful! It's not just an amateur built shed, that's a brilliant professional quality shed. You are lucky to have this kind of friends.
Nice job Adam. And your "Amish Crew" did it all without horses, suspenders and black brimmed hats. Stay safe, healthy and warm. Bill H from Cranberry Township
The go get it guy does a lot to. I'm normally that guy. Let the pros do what they do , but make sure they don't take extra steps to get something. Looks great.
looks great. I kinda do the same with my brother in law. He's a builder so big projects like that I get his help he does most of the work and I help. But I help mostly by staying out of his way. LOL I love this build!
When i saw you guys man handling the first two beams i was like where the excavator or the tractor. Then you brought it in. The guy on the ground is just as important as the guys on the ladders because nothing worse than having to go up and down the ladder. Its great to have friends with great talent to earn plus be able to trust to do the job right. Now the real question was the trip n fall real or was he playing around durning the into? Great video as are all the others.
GOOOOOOOD MAAAAAAAAWNIN EVERYONE!!!…Really nice job! Great progress. I was asking myself during the video…How did an accountant/CPA learn how to build pole barns? Lol 😂 then you came clean. Nice job. Have a Day

That thing is a borderline barn! Keep up the great work.

This is going to be an awesome building. Love the custom pieces, and great to see teamwork in action. Lot of great people around us!

Looking good! Y'all have a great day,God Bless!!!
Thanks! You too!
Y'all did an awesome job!!!!!!!!

You have some great friends Adam. It's looking good.
Yes we do
“Through the power of filming and editing” … 😂 … “it looked like Adam did some work.” Great video / friends. Nicely done Adam!
Looking good Adam. Luckily you have good friends like Doug and Kyle. Hope you got them steak dinners.
Adam nice job and thanks to your friends

Great friends, great content and nice looking pole building. You continue to put the best material out every week.
Neat project, Adam! Looking forward to your future vids on this. 👍
Man you have gotten real good with that mini-excavator, Adam! Can't wait to see how this (and all of your other projects) turn out.
Great camera work. The color, clarity and depth of field on a lot of the shots is SPOT ON! Fantastic quality.
Thank you!
Absolutely awesome friendship 😊 oh and great building too ! Love it
Thank you 🤗
Great work, and classic move of Kyle showing up with the jokes 😂.
That T brace gusset is awesome! Thats what my son does for a living, runs a plaz table.
He’d probably like Kyle’s channel spicer designs
@@HometownAcres I watch spicer designs.
AWESOME!
The go get it guy does a lot to. I'm normally that guy. Let the pros do what they do , but make sure they don't take extra steps to get something. Looks great.
Adam, YOU milled all the timber, YOU bought the dump trailer and excavator, YOU bought and laid the stone
Team work makes the dream work!
Love it!
Great stuff well done 😊❤
Thank you 😁
Greetings from Poland 😁
Hello there!
looks great. I kinda do the same with my brother in law. He's a builder so big projects like that I get his help he does most of the work and I help. But I help mostly by staying out of his way. LOL I love this build!
Cool video! It doesn’t look like the size is big enough for escavator
It is. 20x20. 9’6” wide inbetween posts. 12’ tall header. Excavator only needs about 10’6” to fit in under
@@HometownAcres It doesn't look that wide betwen the bays on the video. I was hoping I was wrong. Love it
What a team!
Good morning Adam!
Morning!
Hi Adam you’re a wealthy man having friends like that, and I know you’d do the same for them. Nice start to the build. 😀👍👍👍
Nice work
My 2 year old daughter is obsessed with excavators, so she quit watching cartoons to watch the excavator "dance" as she calls it 😂 great video Adam!
That is awesome!
A “ground” guy is essential to putting up a building or a roofing job. Enjoy The Journey - Cheers

I always fall as a joke.
that's as corny as it gets -- Love it!
GOOOOOOOD
MAAAAAAAAWNIN EVERYONE!!!…Really nice job! Great progress. I was asking myself during the video…How did an accountant/CPA learn how to build pole barns? Lol 😂 then you came clean. Nice job.
Have a Day
Nice trip at 2:40
I wish I had neighbors like this, all I got is a meth head lmao
Excellent build, music not so. ;-)
Kyle looks like he was setting up for a workers comp claim. Watch that guy.
Nice work
What kind of monster? Winter is just around the corner. Maybe an abominable snowman? 😂
Cool video and great work but the music sucks! Sorry!
Hmm I liked it
Hope you bought Doug and Kyle steak dinners, friends that good deserve nothing less 😉
Which one of those guys took the spill at 2:38?
That was Kyle
This looks great. Did you end up purchasing the rafters?
I did. We were in a rush and I didn’t have time to mill them unfortunately.
The guy falling down in the background😂😂 great video though
I came here for the Monster Homestead. This is just a regular, human homestead...
great build, but my god that music was annoying.
Different people. Different tastes
*intense dubstep music*
Great video Adam, but the music is really annoying!
I knew some people may not like it. I thought it was a perfect fit for the style video this was just getting after some work
I told him about the music probably 20 x’s … I was outvoted. 😏
There is a really cool option on your computer called a volume button.... Learn how it works😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
@@daveklein2826 you are correct sir, easy. And fast forward when no monologue.
No shame in being the GOPHER my man (go for this go for that) … still the gopher for my dad going on 36 years now … back to work
Good thing Adam is 6'4"!
6’5” 😎
Deer stand on the roof.
2:39 since he doesn't look hurt, I've got to ask... did he have a nice trip?
Did Kyle not think that his fall wasn't going to be seen?
That nameplate is probably going to fall down in the next windstorm ... you should have put a screw in every letter as well.
Not necessary
Hah! I thought it could use a couple more.
@@daveklein2826 You dont seem to understand sarcasm.😄😄😄
Bout time for you to get a 3/4 ton truck isn’t it???
Do you provide workmans comp? Haha!!!!😂😂😂😂
Great build, but this music is not a good fit, in my opinion.
Good work from Amash Mc Tavish 😂
What kind of lumber did you use?
Lifting heavy lumber by hand when you have a mini excavator makes my head hurt .
