After watching many of the episodes by this happy family, I feel that Donggook, being a father of five kids, has been doing extremely well in his role. I admire him so much. He put his whole heart and much effort to help his kids growing up to be independent, brave, helpful, patient and understanding. Moreover, the franks that involve dad's love have made the kids learn to take things easy and given the kids some joyful memories.

The great thing about this show, albeit a very small aspect of it, is that it teaches the children to become more independent away from their parents. They're still looked over by the cameramen but they learn to do things on their own without their parents at a young age, which is a very valuable thing to learn for later in life.
They have grown so much. I could still remember them when I first watched them, they were still very small, sian was daebak then and he was just months old and his sisters were so young now they are very ladylike
