If I had the choice between 180 halbs and 180 mamelukes I't always pick the mamelukes. 180 halbs simply don't represent any significant amount of resources. 180 mamelukes, on the other hand, is a LOT of gold.
@@naphackDT Yea and Mamelukes have omni potential, halbs are only really good at one thing, or to just be regular fodder in front of your army. On their own they don't represent much power, even in massed numbers.
units that do melee damage from range can be devastating in large groups, try massing 60 elite throwing axemen they will cut down castles, infantry and infantry like butter, same with Mameluke

Give me a few days to find it.. it was really interesting to read.

Usually tries to Turtle-boom vs High level players. I have seen one game where a top player vs him just quit probably out of frustration than actually being in a losing position lol!
