She has a bug where if you use her s2 at the same time she is about to die, her substitute won't go away. After Kazemaru comes back, you can use the skill again and have 3 Kazemarus for triple cuteness!

Man, I absolutely adore Kazemaru. If Perfumer didn't exist, I'll be taking the origami ninja feline as my wife.
Now that I think about it, Kazemaru doesn't have a specific role to play other than a "Specialist," in the context of being unique. She is a DPS operator, a solid one at that, but she is not dedicated to, more of an after thought when needing her for damage.
If you assumed that Ptilopsis is under the table, while BP is delivering me cake - nah, it's Kazemaru instead.

I actually just e2 her a week before this even because I didn't have a doll keeper built and when i tried her(because she was cute) she actually came in clutch in some no 6* runs. But when I seen her e2 are...damn it's so good it could have been a skin.

Her s2 doll not attacking drones is kinda weird, it threw me off guard when using it. Also I love how her voicelines go back and forth between 2 tones: the cutesy catgirl one and the serious ninja one

@@marielcarey4288 I think she can hit the drone ONLY if she is killed by drone ! Sometime she doesn't attack aerial ennemies

I have gotten this to work exactly once, by accident, so not 100% on the mechanic, but if you activate her skill as she dies, the summoned substitute will become permanent, persisting until you retreat her.
I have spalter and bena but this video convinced me to level my Kaze at some point and time in the future

I use Kazemaru a LOT. She is absolutely someone everyone should roll and build, she's incredible

Finally someone gets it! I've used kazemaru in IS 2-4 because she's p much a pseudo guard if i get a specialist voucher, and she dishes out so much damage even at e1 max. With good timing, she can almost take out the crying perro detective too
I have Kazemaru at S2. She’s a life saver for IS when I need a cheap 2-block with good damage and high burst of arts damage
I remember her greatly help my is2 run randomly that i keep borrowing it after that . then i got spec alter.
When i finally got kaze i already had spec alt both does the same thing so i kinda forgot about her.
I've used her since she released. She's so great, cute and she has a smug smile 10/10
I recently started playing felineknights, but I got a lot of value out of Kazemaru even before that. She's extremely useful when fighting sarkaz lancers and similar one-shot enemies, and it's much easier to obtain and get her to a usable state than Specter alter. A very solid spot for a 5-star.

Before diving into full 6* + myrtle agenda, kazemaru was a fun unit just from the simple ability of getting the large atk boost coupled with arts damage( double dps with her S2), doing really well in early game stages
I remember that I started Arknights around Fiametta event. That’s when I saw Kazemaru and wanted her so badly, so I used all my pulls just to get 2 Fiametta. After that, I remember waiting AGES for her return until like a Rosa & Phantom banner? I saw her and I was so excited that I pulled again just to get 2 more Phantom. At this point I’m very fed up, so I had to use my yellow certificate right now just to get her TvT. My saving for Shu is gone now. And now that I have Kazamaru, I now have to wait AGAIN for her skin rerun (yes it rerun recently with Lee L2D skin but I was just worried if she’ll come back or not so I dun dare to buy it early) If that maid comes back again I’ll make sure I own her and use her in every of my damn missions (My friends always put their max potential Kazemaru in their share operator just to mock me being Kazemaru-less)

Finally after 4 years (or when Kazemaru was released) I got her from yellow certs shop.
I like her design (the first reason for E2 promotion is that E2 art), the switch between chill non-combat and serious in-combat attitude/voice.
She is also fun to use in combat, at least so far. Anticipating to try her in IS mode, overcracked with Siracusan pasta.
I find it funny that a literal paper cat with a sword can hit aerial enemies, but a fish that produce deadly aura can't.
I mean, she's a fish, so she's stuck in the water.
Or flopping around when on land. So not like she has a way to get her aura to reach drones and flying enemies high up in the air.
i borrowed her during is2 a few times, and she has been in the line to be build for quite a while now. I'm finally ready to E2 her next time the "e2 a 5 star" pack comes to the shop. I really use her in IS, she is great

if you want to cover another overlooked 5* thats surprisingly good, i'd recommand Sesa (with module)
ppl dont like him because of his E2 aiming
but dont understand that he abuses defender Block with his talent
the attack speed slow lowers the stress put on defenders
and 22% bonus dmg on blocked enemys is nothing to scoff at.
and if i recall corectly, that talent does not only work for him but provides dps boosts for everyone who attacks blocked enemys
(and AoE guards... i forgot they exist for a moment woops)

On the Arturia's Banner I tried to pull for specter alter since on the last banner of Texas the omertosa I got 4 Skadi Alter but instead I end up getting Kazemaru instead which to be frank one of the 5 Star operator I secretly want to get.
this make me remember that i get her in some joint banner fo 100 pull, definetly better to be patience and get her now with yellow cerificate

I pulled for kazemaru back on joint op 11 I believe with gg and eunectes and got her. I was excited but never got to really use her. Still waiting until my account is maxed out enough to try more niche ops (and by maxed out enough I mean leveling characters I like first and foremost)

I really like Kazemaru! She is so useful in IS as a valuable pick with Specialists Recruitment pool at lower Hope is lacking.

I built her cuz I was lacking in 5* specialist and was surprised by how much damage her S2 explosion does. Definitely worth the E2. The only complain is why tf she mispronounces her own fkn name in EN dub lol.

Kjera is amazing tho, one of the best 5* caster frfr (which is admittedly a low standard to begin with, but even more impressive that she's an outlier!!!)
@@Fizzyon71I'm more shocked by Diamante than Tsukinogi. Tsukinogi is surprisingly decent. Diamante on the other hand is an utterly unremarkable caster who just wastes your red certs
She does have a jank doll targeting system. You always want the doll to land infront of you rather than behind you. The doll have 3x3 range meaning it land behind you is bad. Other than that she does alot of dmg, her module just increase doll landing dmg which is meh
True, but sometimes there were situations where i don't mind the doll landing behind her
If you mess with i-frame and with skill 2, SOMETIMES, Kazemaru can hit drones

Penance is not better than Mudrock, she is either slightly worse or on a similar ground. Lee is slightly better than Jaye, who's a 4-star and much cheaper to build to his power spikes, so Lee might not be seen as the best operator in his class for newish accounts.
You're right, I mightbhave overestimate their abilities
3:48 I just want to point out that "Vanilla Soda" increases auto recovery skill SP regen, which does nothing for Kazemaru S1, since it's an offensive recovery. But therefore all ASPD relics or buffs helps her S1, aswell as any Offensive/Defensive recovery relics.
