As a name for the plant, what about Jelena ( means "new branch"), Novia ("the newcomer to the family") or Saki ("blossom of new hope"). Because I feel like they are all beautiful names with also a meaning that is very fitting, because it is a new plant and a new flat = a new beginning.

I'm not going to lie, when I think of Jelena I can't help but wonder if they're truly right for each other...
So Saki is a combination of the japanese words sa = blossom and ki = hope. Novia comes from the latin word novus. And Jelena is a slavic version of Helen or can be translated through the slavic word jela which is some kind of tree

lucy your monstera / cheese plant wants repotting! that pot is much much much too small for a 2 year old plant - it should be much larger than that so its roots can grow, and you should change the soil as well. that should help it flourish because they're gorgeous when they're growing new leaves every few weeks. also your room is so cute

Your monstera wants some support & a bigger pot - its bending over because its looking for a tree or something to climb up - (from what I could briefly see from the video) People usually opt for a moss pole stuck in the middle of the pot and the monstera will cling to that with its arial roots which are above the soil (the brownish sticky out things popping out the pot). Adding strong support will help it grow upwards! Without support the leaves will flop over & trail - It also looks like it could be getting a bit too much light - which is indicated by the crispier leaves which are nearer the light. Do not give a plant which looks sad plant feed, it can kill the plant because it might stress it out further! :(. Remove any dead leaves as they will just be taking up the plants energy and preventing further growth! Only fertilise once you see new, healthy growth and in the spring/summer - Good Luck!! Loved the video, so chilled out :).

Great video! I think the swiss cheese plant looks like it needs repotting, it's seems to be getting a little big for it's pot! Or if you don't want a literal monster-a to appear you can always just trim a few of its leaves. That should help control growth a bit and the leaves stay looking fab for ages in some water too!

Anneloes Maas my Aloe is named Maxine Caulfield but you're mostly right
my orchid is called Maxine! and my other orchid is Georgiana. My succulents are Stella and Ella, and I've got a mini rose bush I call Lisette. All my plants are female.
