Tall bookshelves would be great on both sides of the fireplace. Then you can decorate with your favorite books and other items. Your home is beautiful.
I believe two accent chairs will look nice since this year you would like to do more entertainment this year. In the dining room u also would do the same lighting just to bring balance to that said with lighting along with a nice wall art.🥰
Just my interior designer brain thinking. I like the console table in window. I think the 2 piles of books looks too matchy, matchy. Take the bunch of books away under the big black vase and just let it sit on the table and leave everything else as is. I would also put a chair in the corner to the right of the fireplace. Your home is beautiful!
Happy new year Sheldon….lets hope this year brings you thousands of new subscribers… I wish nothing but great happiness. You bring a lot of joy with your lovely smiling face xx stay safe well and happy xx
Love everything you do and share Sheldon. You could have two wood boxes or baskets either side of the fire. Gorgeous wicker baskets on castors so you could move them around. Or the box with a leather covered lid so it’s additional seating with the wood stored inside
Hi Sheldon, wishing you a very happy new year . Sometimes hard to really tell how to decorate a space unless your really there in person. Thinking maybe 1 side chair , On one side of fireplace , then the other side either a big tall plant, even a faux olive tree . Or you can add some bigger baskets & keep some pretty throws in them. I’m sure you’ll get many good suggestions . Will see you on the next 🙋🏻♀️☺️
Happy New Years....😊 Sheldon.....you spoke of Adding chairs to your dining room at one point....why not Find to Tall Back Arm Chairs for each side of the fireplace....that way you can pull them in the dining room. Also....I love the idea of a Topaz Color on the sofa....🌞🌞🌞🌞
Happy New Year Sheldon!! I feel like your bench I front of the window needs a plant. You don’t have any greenery in that room and the bench would be the perfect place.
Cooking Tip: Virtually any dish which needs long cooking (an hour or more) will be improved, in my experience, by the inclusion of finely chopped celery. I despise celery, but it is nice when included in casseroles and spag sauces. It seems to change the flavour. I also often include a grated zucchini (I think they are courgettes in the UK) in any dish which needs an onion base. And i almost always use the bottled garlic. People who are into cooking often despise bottled garlic but i cannot tell the difference! (I am a mediocre cook, but I do aim for a decent flavour and I have no issues with bottled garlic!) Thank you for the video! I was away for the weekend so it took me longer than usual to get to it but this fun video was definitely worth the wait! Thank you! The chairs may create a sensation of crowding, but they would be useful from a practical point of view when you are entertaining. Could you find some light and easily moved chairs to keep somewhere else in the house and move them into the sitting room for parties or other events when they are needed? I keep some fold-ups for that purpose, but folder-ups may not be your vibe!
Hi Sheldon, ive got a big basket next to my fireplace with fluffy textured blankets in. I definately think your gorgeous living room could take a darker colour to add some depth to it and make the fireplace pop. Im looking to do mine soon so will wait and see what you do so i can copy 😂 xx
I had my living room for a good while with burnt orange, chocolate brown, and champagne gold accessories. It sounds like a revolting concoction, but it worked really well together! Your living room looks great! Good choice for the window and seating.
I love the logs under those consoles, beside the fireplace would be ideal but they're still close, I love the rustic natural feeling they bring to your space.. so dreamy 🤤 I'd be living out my cottage dreams with that log burning fireplace
Hi Sheldon. Happy Sunday. Chairs in the alcoves would be great. I think you need them to complete the look. The logs are fine where they are. They add to the look. Yes, to a warmer darker color on the walls. Yes, to some sort of art on the dining room wall. Great video. Congratulations on the 10k steps. See you Wednesday.
Woods perfect where it is and walls don’t touch it’s perfect Maybe wall light bye the table yes whole rooms Perfect reminds me of an American New York town house vibes . Your homes perfect so far I’m with you fr the journey so inspiring Thank you Sheldon 🎉 happy new year 🥳 lov you
Hey I have the same ikea couch as you, but I used a Bemz cover for it. It completely elevate the couch. I also got extra foam custom cut to pad out the seat cushion.
Happy New Year, Handsome! You are my favorite youtuber, your energy is absolutely wonderful! I really look forward to following you and what you will create in your beautiful home in 2025! And if you ask me, I think it is so beautiful to have many or one tall (gold) floor candlestick on each side of the fireplace! Love from a very snowy and cold Sweden 🇸🇪❤
Hi Sheldon HNY. I think in the dining room a picture in the middle panel and picture light above… a battery one. And maybe a basket in the alcove nearest the window and a comfy cream chair on the other side. Definitely stick to a neutral sofa and add colour with your accessories, and a darker colour on the walls will look fab!! Loving the vlogs btw xx
Love this cozy vibe! Totally into the idea of adding those dark, rich colors-brown, green, and orange are such a mood. I’m also all for making the fireplace more of a centerpiece. Have you thought about adding a firewood stand? It could turn the wood into an art piece! Oh, and one more chair? A dark leather club chair would be perfect.
Hi Sheldon, I so enjoy spending time with you, thankyou for sharing. Your dinner looked yummy and although I don't have a chimney I am definitely getting an optiflame fire for next winter. Happy snow day today! It's thawing, fresh falling snow is so pretty. Stay warm and cosy 🤍🤎🤍🌨
Hi homebody bestie...what about a big picture either with a antique brass picture light above or 2 long candle sconces in the panels either side of the larger panel in the dining room ...cox and cox do some nice log stores too if you want something specially to hold logs ...chairs would look fab in lounge alcoves ...personally i'd look for maybe and open wood frame similar to a large carver with linen upholstery of course 😂.....just i feel , if they are more open as opposed to more solid chair they ,as a rule are slightly smaller & less bulky so perfect in that space ...and of course you can see through the arms & under the legs so keeping that lovely open space look you have ❤
Just flew in to England for a long 3 month stay and am all about the feels. It’s so wet and dark 😁I’m English how did I forget? Anyway feeling cosy and happy to be watching my home body best. Happy New Year and I can’t wait to see what you do this coming year. Keep up all the fantastic, fabulous content
Hey Sheldon. Wow you’ve both make a lovely fire bet your nice & toasty. Firstly in the dinning room part yes to wall lights 3 I think would look nice, rechargeable ones if possible ( save on the mess). Lovely to see ya in the kitchen we don’t go in there much, nice change that. Secondly the alcoves. 2 high backed chairs yummy . Not sure on the sofa we can have a look when ya swatches arrive. Have a good cosy one.
Morning, Sheldon. I've only recently started watching your videos after a friend told me how similar you and I are. I adore your videos and energy. For the wall in your dining area, why not put a long canvas like the one in your guest bedroom and a picture light. I think that would look stunning. ❤
Love this! Happy New Year! 🎉Do you have a Homegoods? I think they have really cute stools and benches. Big basket in the alcove full of wood looks nice. 1 comfy chair in the other alcove. Love the color on the walls. Chandelier is a great idea!
I used to take dettol baths as a kid, and I used to give my 3 children dettol baths too. I've not heard of many other people doing this, so this evoked lovely memories 😂
I have a shed outside for wood for the burner and inside I have a basket ...how about painting the chimney breast walls a slightly darker shade..maybe drop cloths
Evening HBB! Hope your well? In regards to the logs I think they look lovely where they are but if you wanted an idea why not get a log basket to go next to your chairs if you decide to do chairs in the alcoves could give the cozy vibes? Love the video as always 🤎🤎
Hi sheldon happy new year love your vlogs I have a double room like you and mine was dark but I have a sideboard with lamps on and it’s so much better love from Ellen xx
I really don't think you need any more chairs, maybe a tall tree even if it's not real, but if you have to get more seating, just one chair. How many people are you planning to have in there at one time that you need so many chairs. Personally, your place is fabulous. 😊
Be very careful on the fabric you choose to use on the sofa that it will not pilling (go bobbly) that will drive you crazy. I always use lazy garlic and ginger work smarter not harder lol. Two fire side chairs with a cosy cushion would look great.
Hi Sheldon, you was reading my mind I was thinking put rechargeable lights on that wall like you did in your guest bedroom, also what if you put a plant in one side of the fireplace and the other side a basket with a throw in. I think it might look to much with chairs put there plus do you really need them. I also have a log burner I was told I couldn't put a tv above my fireplace because of heat from the log burner I had to have my tv next to my fireplace but would of loved it to look how you have your tv.😊 logs look great where they are looks nice.
Sheldon where did you get your wall lamps and those lamps on your console table , lovely video :happy new year , from my house to your , have a great new year xx
Tall bookshelves would be great on both sides of the fireplace. Then you can decorate with your favorite books and other items. Your home is beautiful.

Sheldon have you thought of adding a mural wallpaper on the dining room panels on the empty wall?

Happy New Year Sheldon 🍾 I would not put chairs in there, think it’s lovely left open. 😍
Hi sheldon happy new year love your vlogs I have a double room like you and mine was dark but I have a sideboard with lamps on and it’s so much better love from Ellen xx
Put two upholstered benches in the space.

Blessed morning Sheldon, late today going for sauna after watching my favourite viewing.
Good morning! Have the most amazing day 🤎
Would you consider getting two cubes and covering them in the same material as the sofa for under your console x
Maybe put some pictures on that wall with the picture lights above them🤔😊

Thank you so much! I have not had any issues with the TV above the fire! The limestone surround helps I think
You need a large art piece and a picture light in the dining room.
Sheldon put an olive tree to the right of your fireplace, but overall you have such great taste.
Sheldon where did you get your wall lamps and those lamps on your console table , lovely video :happy new year , from my house to your , have a great new year xx
Leave the room the same colour xx
