- In this video I showcase my Alien movie franchise collection! I spotlight all my movies and trading card collectibles. I talk about my Mount Rushmore of movie directors! I also announce an impromptu giveaway!
Great video! We enjoyed watching this. Too funny with the doggie lol 😆 Mrs. Diaz loves this franchise and her favorite in the series is Promethus, so we'd love to be entered! Cool giveaway and cool Alien 👽 pack you have! Goooood Collleccctttiiinnnggg! ❤🎉
@@unc23sports Awww, thanks so much you two!
My little doggie doesn’t like sitting on my lap- so, I had to do it in one take. Glad you liked it! I knew you’re both big fans of the horror genre, so, glad you liked it! Yes, Prometheus is awesome- you qualify for the drawing! From the top of my heart I really appreciate all your support!
Awesome collection, congrats 👏 😀 🙌 😄
@@nafex3740 Thanks, I really appreciate that!
Nice collection. I haven’t seen some of the recent ones.
In the first Alien, how did the alien get so big so fast? That has always bothered me. 🤣
I don’t always know who directed what.
I do like a lot of Ridley Scott movies. Also I’ve noticed I like several Quentin Tarantino movies. Clint Eastwood & Michael Mann also come to mind.
@@victornegroncards good question a supreme genetic species, I guess- lol
Yeah boy🎉😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
Woohoo 🦇
“At $4 a ticket maybe movie goers feel like they have too much invested to leave early…”😂😂 that report at the end was great. I could smell the crap in that little dude’s pants! It smelled half as bad as my pants seeing your dog coming out of your stomach!! Great breakdown of the franchise Rob! You sold me on it and if I can find them I’ll start chopping them down. I was never a scary movie guy so the first 2 just missed me as a youngster. I wanna say that the Alien is also featured in 1988 Fright Flicks cards. Do you have any unopened packs of those?
Great comments 😂😂😂😂. Definitely, keeping in mind the first 2 ones came out in ‘79 and ‘82 respectively. So, even though ahead of its time back then may be a little antiquated as it’s pre-cgi. But watch the first 2 and then watch the 3 modern ones, Prometheus, Covenant and Romulus. Thanks for all your support!
Lol Great video and collection bud. Always entertaining my man! Have a good weekend! 👊 😎
Wow what a amazing collection congrats thanks for sharing I remember watching Avatar it was pretty cool too😊
Yes, loved Avatar- thanks Isaac!
Jesse the body Ventura was in Predator! I like all of these movies but Alien vs Predator was a classic matchup, just like Jason vs Freddy, not great movies but pretty epic in my books! You should keep your DVD for your collection! My favorite directors are Rob Zombie, John Carpenter is one of the masters of horror, Tobe Hooper shouldn't be forgotten and of course Wes Craven! Enjoyed the vid brother! Hope you're having a good day! 💪😁🤘
Alfred Hitchcock would have to be my favorite though, I studied him in my English media class and really learned a lot from him!
Love those horror pics, Rip! Thanks for watching, brother and all your support!
@@ripemall4548Yes, the birds and of of psycho, one of the best
Dang dang what an epic intro my guy!!! Im glad to see that you won the battle!!! Likewise...crazy awesome showcase!!! I like how you finished it off with a news clip...that was a nice touch as well as giving the dog a treat for her outstanding performance!!! I hope that your week is off to a stellar start my friend!!!👊🏻❤️💯🙏🏻
lol, thanks, Brandon, I’m proud of my dog for being a good sport! Good to hear from you, my friend , thanks for stopping by. ps. do you know what’s up with Doug DT2 robots? Last i checked he hadn’t put anything out in awhile.
Yeah boy first boy
You the man!
Aghhhhh yeah boy 🎉🎉
@@unc23sportsdon’t fret, Ken’s 8 hours ahead of us!
What is your Mount Rushmore of Movie Directors?
Spielberg, Scorsese, Tarantino & Mel Brooks
Mrs. Diaz selections are Spielberg, Sam Raimi, James Wang & James Cameron ❤
@@unc23sportsnice, all great. I did think about Brooks- well done!
@@unc23sportsawesome, Wang and Raimi are great sneaky picks!
Spielberg, Mel Brooks, Wes Craven & George Lucas
Awesome collection, congrats
Thanks, glad you enjoyed it!
Now that I survived the intro and didn’t go off the road I can let you know how much I enjoyed this 😂 No way you could have done that intro with your orange tabby…it would have messed you up! Back in high school, I had an Atari Jaguar and the scariest game for it was Alien vs. Predator. I’d play it with the lights off and tough guy Hugo would be under the sheets playing 😬 The 2nd Alien movie is my favorite too and the 1st Predator. The stachy stache guys interviewed in the movie promo seem like good dads but that 2nd guy would be a trip to talk to I think. Good collecting 👍❤
Great point on the cat- he did have claws! I had the 2600, had to look up the Jaguar- way cool! That is awesome! It would have been better than playing dig dug! Funny how BK has us Stache conditioned- I was thinking the same thing, lol. Thanks for all your support, amigo!
Didn’t know they had cards that’s super cool! I watched these recovering surgery and it gave me some enjoyment! Haven’t seen Prometheus, is it any good? Thanks for sharing and have a great rest of your weekend!
@@TCBsprtscards I really liked Prometheus. Glad it gave you enjoyment during your recovery. Thanks for watching and all your support! Have a great weekend!
Fun share here Rob. I love the Alien movies and the Predator movies. First Predator movie had to be my favorite. Loved the whole Army Commando and Jungle theme. Pretty cool. Not sure on Movie Director Mount Rushmore. Never really thought of that. I have always liked Stephen Sommers and Steven Speilberg. Enjoyed Rob.
Thanks for your kind words, Steve! I'm glad you enjoy these types of movies too. Sommers went to high school in Minnesota! I appreciate your support, take care, Steve!
Thanks for sharing all the cool Alien stuff. That pack is pretty cool looking and I liked the box too. I wonder how many more movies they'll make tied to this franchise. That's a fun little giveaway. Those parents and kids were pretty funny in the clip! Take care and have a great weekend.
@@oldnewrips Thanks Lance. Well the cynical and probably true answer is as long as they keep making money- lol. I hope they do! I’m glad you liked that old clip, I thought it was great on so many levels! Thanks for all your support!
WOW!!!! Rob. I got worried at the beginning. I thought that Alien had you. Alien was such a fantastic movie. The second Aliens I feel was the best of the series. I go so scared as a little kid when the Alien came out of John Hurt's stomach. I got to see Alien a year after it came out on HBO when I was about 8. Scared me pretty good. My Mt. Rushmore of directors would be Martin Scorsese, Steven Spielberg, Francis Ford Coppola, and John Landis. Fantastic video as always Rob. Much thanks.
Lol, I too really enjoyed this series and having a crush on Sigourney as a youth probably contributed to my affinity for the franchise. Nice Rushmore, so many good options to choose from! Thanks for taking time out of your day to share your opinion!
Like #15! Only ever seen the first one, but I liked it and Sigourney Weaver wasn't that bad to look at back then either...lol Cool looking cards. Seen it a couple years later on HBO, Cinemax or Prism, one of those pay channels back in the day. Maybe throw in a little LML and say Skinemax 🤣🤣 Couldn't resist and not sure if anyone else has called it that??....lol Love the clip at the end, did you ever watch the video like this from the Exorcist theater opening with some of the news anchor asking the movie goers. I get a kick out of that one as well. Enjoyed the watch, thanks for sharing my friend 👍👍until next time, have an awesome weekend Rob ✌out & Good Collecting sir
@@Andys_Attic there’s a. Exorcist one? Crazy gots to check that one out! Skinemax/ oh yeah, these cheaters I’m wearing I swear was the result of watching too much scrambled porn- lol. Yeah, Aliens (2) was really good-you should see that one too. Thanks for watching, commenting and all your support!
@@commentingcollector you're welcome and it may be the same reason I have to wear cheaters...lol and I will have to give Alien 2 a watch. I was surprised your dog was pretty calm through the whole trauma of eating through your stomach....lol Have a great day Rob 👍
Definitely a great movie 🍿 series 😊
Yes, it sure is- thanks for stopping in, friend!
Awesome video Robert! I saw the first two alien movies but haven’t seen the rest. I think I have a few of those original alien cards somewhere, I’ll have to look for them some day. The clip at the end was funny, “would you recommend your friends to go see it? No, no I wouldn’t “ 😂😂
@@PickerJimS Thanks, Jim. The first two our the Gold Standard. I will say the 3 latest our good/ Prometheus, covenant and Romulus. Yeah/ that kid was great! Thanks for your support. I’m going to send you an email.
great intro and people think im nuts lol. great history info on the alien franchise ive watched all the movies. great veiw of the vintage cards.
Thanks, Darrell! Fun movies!
Yes, Aliens was a blast! I don't care what people say I like Aliens vs Predator series too!
@@tripolicXcards right on if it’s good entertainment and an escape from reality that’s all that really matters! Thanks for all your support!
Ha! The special effects keep getting better and better in your videos, my friend! Also, that clip at the end is priceless 😂. Take care!!!
lol, I do my best on my limited budget! Thanks for all your support, Rob👍❤️
Awesome Intro LOL!! Funny Love it! Alien is my 2nd favorite movie series!! Cool. Oh yeah Upper Deck has Alien cards, I have a tobacco mini from 2019 Alien 3.
Sweet, Rob- I’ll have to check those UD’s out!
I have not seen any of the movies from this series. If one were to watch it, do you start with the 1979 movie? I hope you are enjoying your weekend. I am not really a movie person so I can't help with naming any directors.
@@CleanCheapShots no problem- I couldn’t name my Farmer Mount Rushmore either except maybe, Ed? Seriously, yes you definitely need to start with the original 1979 Alien then watch the sequel called Aliens which many consider the best one. And if you like those I’d skip to the 3 modern ones. Prometheus, Alien Covenant and to the newest release Romulus. Let me know what you think if you ever get the opportunity. Thanks for all your support, Drew!
@@commentingcollector 🤣 a Farmer Mount Rushmore, now that's funny Rob
@@Andys_Attic why thank you and don’t forget to tip your waiter! Oh and how could I forget- old McDonald
Cool video, Rob! I had no idea there were trading cards from this movie, but it honestly doesn't surprise me. Awesome stuff!
Thanks Danny! I wish they had continued them throughout the subsequent movies. Thanks for all your support/ take care and happy hunting!
Great video. Cool Alien card pack! I love Alien & Aliens. That’s it lol the rest don’t exist for me lol. You should check out the comic adaptation of William Gibson’s Alien 3. There’s also an audio book version with Michael Biehn & Lance Hendrickson reprising their roles from Aliens. Predator was a great one I love plus 2 & Predators. At the moment 4 directors I love would be Steven Spielberg, Richard Linklater, James Cameron and Quentin Tarantino. Thanks for sharing. Great job especially the chest bursting scene 😂! Be well. 🤙 23:57
Dave, lovely comment! Thanks for the tip, love that the actual actors are narrating- have to check that out! Linklater, that’s a good one, I’ve seen Dazed and school of rock but need to dig into his catalog more- any suggestions to start with? Thanks for all your support and Good Collecting, my friend!
@@commentingcollector A Scanner Darkly is my favorite of his films. Hit Man on Netflix is another good one. Slacker is another one. 🤙
Alien is such a terrifying movie. I still need to watch the sequels. And, man, what a tough job to pick out the Mount Rushmore of directors...there are so many good ones! For me, I'll also put on Nolan and Spielberg, but I'll add Hitchcock...and, in a move that most probably wouldn't make, I'll put on John Hughes.
Love the Hughs pick- that was my childhood! Like you said there’s no wrong answer. Hitchcock is Hitchcock. And then there’s Lucas. One trick pony, I guess. But what a pony! Thanks for all your support!
@@commentingcollector Indiana Jones franchise would probably make Lucas a two trick pony my friend as well as lets not forget about American Graffiti. Just sayin' ...lol
What a coincidence, I did pick up a bunch more avp promo cards for Liam including a pack, he's over in Ireland.
Great video
Yeah, I’m like dang how did I miss that one. Nice pick up by you. Guess I got to get it now! Thanks for your kind words and support!
Great video this was fun
Thanks, Jon, that’s my objective! I appreciate your nice compliment!
Seen Aliens vs Predator in the theater
My son and I have a small VHS collection, should find some of these
@@Dav3Campb3ll A great entertainment opportunity for you and your son/ enjoy!
That was Oscar level special effects.
@@dustinabraham lol thank you
"This could have been a true story"? I thought peoples IQ's were going down over the years, but maybe they started low. LOL Great video Rob, and the movie interviews made me laugh.
Thanks for sticking it out to the end! Yes, I m glad you found that clip as amazing as I did. Thanks for All your support, brother!
Oh yeah dig the pointer is it a Pencil? lol
Yeah, it's a pencil- I run a low budget operation-lol
