Would you use the LLC EIN in the W8BEN?

Good morning from Greece. The bank asked me for more information to fill in W-8 to begin with and then she asked me to fill out the W-9 maybe she doesn't know either. I was born in Boston but left when I was 5 years old and grew up in Greece (my mother is Greek) I studied and worked here and I have never worked in America. Which of the two forms should I fill out? I await your reply. Thanks

I have a question I hope you answer!
I'm not American and I'm not a US resident,
I have an LLC ( Wyoming state ) and I have a dropshipping store
I don't have to pay taxes right?
But what if my country has no taxes! Will I have to pay taxes in us?

Hi, James my name is Michael US citizen living and working in Germany since 1981. Recently I was requested to fill out either the W8ben or W9 form for FZN Bank. I have a Immo Savings Fond account, which form should I fill out? I´m confused. I have no American address but pay all my Taxes in Germany. I`ll really appreciate your advice.

Hi James! I'm expanding my hiring and retention services overseas and am wondering if a W8BEN - E for the companies and a w9 or w8BEN for individuals working for them would be best. Thanks!

I'm new to this but the logic is telling me this will result in the gentleman losing his tax exempt status.

You teach people how to treat you by what you put up with.
If anything i would create a separate company for venues within a different jurisdiction. Just tell them legally your not within that jurisdiction and it would require you to be dishonest which violates your companies ethics. Just be honest and keep it moving. If the company doesn't respect your companies status then do you really want there business anyway? I wouldn't but that's just me.

Most of these idiots at these companies will even withhold payments unless you give them a W9… AFTER you’ve already done the work of course
