The world owes Courtney an apology for how they treated her, so misunderstood. Underrated poet.

I knew most of the facts already, but thank you for presenting them in such a humane way.
Also, as chairman of the GenX committee, I'd like to commend Sarah for having a couple of DARK zingers that make her eligible to be an honorary member. You'll be getting your certificate in the mail, or whatever.

I was SORT OF on board until the part where someone posited that the fact that Courtney Love's habit of being inconsistent in her telling of history is in and of itself a reason to give her inconsistency around Kurt's death MORE credibility, and I was out.

Hi there, as someone who also HATES Hank Harrisons book for the same reasons you do, I wanted to drop some notes:
Maybe do more research before doing a podcast? This is all selective collections of media reports, mostly based on Courtney's take (which you all yourself admit she's a liar). Dismissing relevant questioning just because she's a high profile by saying "why would you question that" is not debunking anything.
You all don't even seem to know basic, well documented facts. i.e. "I think she dated Eric." You think? That is commonly known and addressed by both of them as well as band mates (see Patty Schemels book).
And "just because she was there" she WASNT there. She was at a sober house in LA. In fact, she missed the call from Cali Dewitt and Jessica Hopper, letting her know Kurt arrived home. This was BEFORE she hired Tom.
She also threatened Kristen Pfaff numerous times, who openly said she was scared of Courtney and was trying to get away from her. She had her uhaul packed and was trying to get away from Seattle and died that night.
P.S. invalidating Tom Grant because of his "broken" website is not only incorrect (ive been all over that website and havent found a single broken link) but this was super cringey to listen to when you all clearly aren't even interested in reading a single police report.
And saying Kurt "wanted to be a junkie" was really out of line and taken out of context with the passage you reference that from. That was not saying he "wanted to be" a junkie. That was a statement of self defeat.
We really gotta stop dismissing valuable evidence just because someone slapped a label of "conspiracy" on it.
As someone who has read quite a number of books on this case (including one's endorsed by Courtney) this was really disappointing. Just a bunch of misinformation.
