Coming from a 66 year old drummer who has played for James Brown and Rare Earth, I must say that you are phenomenal! I love your licks on the cymbals. You play from your heart. That is why you are so damn good! Great drummers always have the beat in their heart and soul. They only allow their spirit out to play.
I know I'm getting older, but your covers of these classic rock tunes make me want to put in the head phones and crank it up. Please don't stop what your doing . Your amazing.
Sina OMG I can watch you play all night long. My parents stopped my drumming lessons when I was 10 years old. Till this day I do not know why. I always wanted to be behind a drum kit in a band. But this is not about me this is totally about you Sina. I wish you the best of luck in your professional future and I wish one day I can get to meet you. Your biggest fan- Anthony
Ram jams cover of this old blues tune is one of the best rock 1hit wonders ever made , it still gets airplay decades later and will continue, Sina gives this tune justice, love it , new york
I am 64 yrs old.....when this plays,I remember playing "air drums"...keeping a beat.....this,by Sina,is spot on! I am from Minnesota,America. Thank you,Sina!
Sina your bringing out all the old drummers like myself, Reason is we don't come out for everyone. But you are special you feel the music. And we old drummers can tell what is real and what is fake, YOU ARE REAL. We are all here to support you and your amazing talent. Thank You for making us all feel young and alive again. I hope I'm around to see you perform live. It will be well worth the wait Thank You and keep on choppin
You have a ton of natural skill and passion and your dad turned you onto the right music, but the fact that you played Black Betty for your age elevates you to goddess status. Booyah
Kimberly Riley - and definitely check out REO Speedwagon Roll With The Changes, Extreme Get The Funk Out and my personal favorite (so far) Deep Purple Highway Star!
Sina has done countless drum covers and originals. Her cover of Black Betty was one of, if not the first videos I ever saw of this extremely gifted and talented young lady and was why I fell in love with her drumming. I guess Black Betty is my favorite because it started me listening to her. Her talent has simply gotten better and better. I always look forward to her next video.
I am a classical music fan, I like opera and classic musicals, so this song is not really part of my normal listening, but I am so amazed at the talent that this wonderful young lady shows, I can not help but appreciate it!
I've been a Sina fan for quite a while...I've also said before that her self confidence has grown a lot in the last several months. This one simply reinforces that Sina has become a world-class drummer who can play anything with anyone. Good for you, Sina...
Mercy! Challenging song with some wicked time changes. This is a great example of Sina's skill. Also, it's fun to see this lady enjoy herself with some rockin' music.
I started playing when I was 12 & have been playing for 40 yrs. YOU SINA HAVE A NATURAL GOD GIVEN GIFT to be able to play like that. 👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏✌️✌️☝️☝️☝️☝️
The asynchronies of your legs / feet is phenomenal. Your talent is amazing. What you are doing with that talent is SOOOO APPRECIATED !!! Thank you for sharing...
Let me guess R. A. that you model the Northern Pacific. I too dabble at model railroading and truly enjoy Sina's talents and abilities with banging the bongos.
Sina, you read my mind! I've been listening to Black Betty on Amazon music, wishing you would have a video of you doing a cover of the drum part! Lo and behold, here it is! There aren't words I can write that describes how mesmerized I am when I see you play, and you are so young too! Besides RUclips videos, I don't hear your name being mentioned anywhere! Maybe you're just humble, but you, in my estimation, are one of the best drummers ever, on the lines of Keith Moon, John Bonham, Buddy Rich, and Ringo Starr (for the originality of his drumming) as you mentioned in your expose of his drumming style! Everytime you play I am blown away how you are right on spot with ANY drum cover in a song! The most amazing thing is you are so young. It would take most drummers to achieve what you have done a lifetime to reach the level of expertise and experience that you have! Continue to amaze! Best wishes with health and happiness in all your future endeavors! Your name and talent should be publicized the world over!
My headphones are at maximum. I wish RUclips or Apple would stop telling me to turn the volume down! It’s got to be loud. I don’t care what anybody says. Sina Rocks. I wish I could play like that.
Addendum to my previous remark. I didn’t mean to encourage loud listening. If you are in any doubt about listening to very loud music via headphones, turn the volume down. I grew up listening to loud rock, both live and through music systems. I’ve been lucky to retain my hearing, but the general advice is to allow yourself some headroom and listen on the safe side of 80-85 db. Anything above 100db over a prolonged duration is very likely to affect your hearing.

The song - "Black Betty". Its origin is rather obscure. Some people credit legendary bluesman Huddie "Lead Belly" Ledbetter who released an a cappella version in 1939. There are recordings that predate his like James Baker (1933) and some historians trace it back to an 18th century marching song. What is Black Betty? A musket, bottle of whiskey, bullwhip, prison wagon, barmaid. Seems you can take your pick! Sometime in 1977, guitarist Bill Bartlett, while in a band called Starstruck with rhythm guitarist Tom Kurtz, bassist Dave Goldflies, and drummer Dave Fleeman, recorded a rock version of "Black Betty". It became a regional hit. New York producers formed a new band around Bartlett named Ram Jam with new members. They recorded their first studio album which was released in June 1977. The recording of "Black Betty" used was the original Starstruck recording. It reached top 20 in the USA and top 10 in the UK. The cover - You can do a note-for-note (or beat-for-beat) tribute cover version, a rearranged version of a popular song that shows your own style and personality, or an all original composition. Each approach requires a different skill set. Even a cursory look through Sina's videos shows she's capable of all three. For "Black Betty" she has taken on the task of nailing a beat-for-beat performance that not only takes great drumming skill but also an amazing memory! She's not playing off a chart here, this is Sina to the max - bam-ba-lam!
Oh sweetheart, I can see by the smile on your face that you had as much fun performing this song as I did listening to it!!!And I just gotta say...very well done Sina!!!Loved each and every note of it as well as each and every frame of it!!!!! THANK YOU SO MUCH!!!
Follow-up from my last comment on this video from 2 months ago. After 40 minutes of trying to get this song smooth flowing between the bass and the drums, I just made my 57 year old drummer sit down and watch this video as a visual avenue to pick up the little devils in the details along with the timing and the drumming techniques needed to play this song correctly After he watched it closer he gave you a BIG hats off complement for a job very well done and I agree! I was playing this song when it originally released many moons ago and it really takes a good solid drummer to play stuff like this so that it delivers.
WHEN I WAS IN COLLEGE (A LOOOONG TIME AGO) THE CAMPUS RADIO STATION WOULD PLAY THIS SONG EVERY HOUR ON THE HALF HOUR & I HAVEN'T HEARD IT SINCE. THANKS FOR BRINGING THIS MEMORY BACK TO ME, YOU ROCK.
Amazing stuff. She is playing with heart and soul and it shows. Nice to see younger generation playing great classic rock. How can someone give it 373 dislikes. She is very talented. Don't ever stop playing Sina..you are very good.
I'm back haha! Discovering this mind blowing song has single handedly caused me to fall in love with drums and as a result found this unfathomabley GOOD drummer!! Even better, she's a gal after my own heart!! I have this song on loop haha and appreciate the full length version with the incredible drum section that's been edited out of the vast majority of videos on youtube sadly. I'm in awe of this gal!
Damn, sina!!!! There aren't enough words to express how, (and i speak for all of those here) simply amazingggggg you are and continually amazing us all with each and EVERY performance!!! Keep on rockin', sina girl!!! 👏🏼🥁🎧
Awesome. Beyond advanced. Very hard to play. It is refreshing to see and hear you and your collaborators do real music with real instruments and real voices.
You really made me realize how complex the drum work is in this song (and other songs). Great job! Thanks to you I am listening more for drum work in the music I have listened to my whole life.
This young lady is awesome! She's a very talented drummer and she's also very talented on other instruments! At her age having this blessing talent she's going to be one of the greatest! And I'll be watching.
Great that you used the album version of this classic track here. I am sure this is much harder to play that you make it appear. You did a fantastic job Sina, Spot on!
Whatever the origin of "Black Betty" as a name, or as a song, the fact is this a a really great piece Sina. A couple of years ago I was commenting in the way an adult musician comments about a child musician. Now, you are an adult musician yourself and one of the best. Technically, with the syncopation and timing of the percussion part of this song it's phenomenally hard to play the anchor rhythm part while listening to the rest through headphones. Once again you've really nailed it.
One thing I can Sina ,I don't think there is a Song you can't Master and oh my you kicked this one into High Gear . Fantastic is the word I'm think of Wow . Another Classic .
Sina you rock !!! Absolutely incredible drumming on here , I could binge watch all your videos as I love all your choices of songs . Go girl , total respect your new number 1 fan x

Unglaublich.
Sherman T. Potter Yes, that‘s german. Here I translate it for the rest of the world in, I hope, correctly english: Incredible. Simply fantastic, how exactly you always play to the songs. I find it difficult to play Black Betty. I have somehow never managed to hear the fast drum passages. Now I've at least seen in your video, how can I play this passages. If I have a hat on, I would pull him now. Absolutely fantastic. Looking forward for new videos about your drumming. LG André P.S. "I think I'm going to practice a little bit ;-)"

You nailed one of my favorite tunes ever,Sina... OUTSTANDING!!!!
Это просто : " дар Божий " в котором она себя нашла .. Браво ! Спасибо Бог за дар !
I have yet to find another YT drummer who stays as true to the original as Sina.
WHEN I WAS IN COLLEGE (A LOOOONG TIME AGO) THE CAMPUS RADIO STATION WOULD PLAY THIS SONG EVERY HOUR ON THE HALF HOUR & I HAVEN'T HEARD IT SINCE. THANKS FOR BRINGING THIS MEMORY BACK TO ME, YOU ROCK.
Some insane drumming going on in this jam, and you knocked it right outta the ballpark...bravo Sina !!!
Fantastic!
Holy shit! Fancy seeing u here!

Cozy Powell was a drum genius. But YOU, YOU are a drum goddess! Thanks for all the nice music moments with you.
Freaking fantastic!!! This coming from a drummer of 31 years!!!! Your talent will take you beyond your wildest dreams!!!! Keep on rockin!!!!!!
Anyone who would thumbs down one of this young ladies videos must be blind , deaf, stupid, or just plain jealous of her AMAZING TALENT.
Damn, sina!!!! There aren't enough words to express how, (and i speak for all of those here) simply amazingggggg you are and continually amazing us all with each and EVERY performance!!! Keep on rockin', sina girl!!! 👏🏼🥁🎧
I fully agree
Awesome. Beyond advanced. Very hard to play. It is refreshing to see and hear you and your collaborators do real music with real instruments and real voices.
I agree 100%
It's an old old song about muskets the English had a Brown Bess and you yanks had a Black betty
One thing I can Sina ,I don't think there is a Song you can't Master and oh my you kicked this one into High Gear . Fantastic is the word I'm think of Wow . Another Classic .
I knew my generations music didn’t suck thanks for playing with a passion and doing a better job than the original song
I am a mediocre drummer and you just did one of my favorite drumming songs. The execution was flawless! Thank you, Sweetheart.
Sençacional!!!
Técnica,habilidade,maestria e excelência,tudo num pacote só,esse menina é completa,uma perfeição!!
Sina you rock !!!
Absolutely incredible drumming on here , I could binge watch all your videos as I love all your choices of songs .

Es gibt keine bessere Drummerin! Egal was man auf TikTok, Insta oder sonst so sieht... Sina is ein Uhrwerk und nicht zu toppen!!!!
Simply amazing!!! I smile from ear to ear in astonishment ever time I watch this one. Just too cool and Sina is such an amazing drummer. You can tell she really had fun doing this one.
i believe this girl is the best female drummer on the planet.
I haven't heard every female drummer on the planet, so I don't know....... But I have heard Sina and I do know Sina can play!
Seems you don't know Hana from Gacharic Spin ^^

TJ VP Hyperbole.
correct , i didn,t know Hana from Gacharic Spin .So many drum video,s on youtube. Thank you for brought her to my attention. I (former drummer) just watched several video,s with Hana and in my opinion her drumming is sometimes a little bit overwhelming. Sina,s drumming however moves me. She is really good, and certainly not overwhelming. And i love her music taste. I gues it,s all a matter of taste.
There's a lot of female drummers out there, here's a few
Anika Niles : ruclips.net/channel/UC0P-ec6f8-oeueSf84RQZZg
Brooke C. : ruclips.net/channel/UCAG3VrzHOmnNjrDeOpcZfFQ

Jaw Tooth y
Гитарист Пашкевич Дмитрий
Les Paul classic ftw
Incredible talent! Can’t imagine where she’ll be in a few years if she gets even better!! WOW!
just blown away by this young lady's talent and obvious passion
There are many young female drummers on RUclips trying to make a name for themselves but you are without a doubt head and shoulders way above all of them! You continue to surprise me with your talent!
Wow, the co-ordination required, you are a joy to watch, so much talent
I used to sing this song to my daughter when she was a baby. Yes Sina it's a lot of fun in this song lol
Wow, totally wow. I just discovered you and I'm totally addicted! You are so awesome!
Late to the Sina show here, 230am and I cannot sleep! Every time I try to stop I find another brilliant cover!
You may NEVER get to sleep!
I joined the Sina club too a couple of weeks ago and agree it is hard to stop watching. She is absolutely AMAZING. Also really love the collaborative videos with other amazing, young talent. Also I highly recommend Radar Love if you have not seen it yet - I think it is my favorite Sina cover although there are so many great ones it is hard to choose.
@@keithneargarder Welcome aboard! I have been a Sinaholic for almost 2 years now and it just gets better and better, Just when you think she cannot top "this one" she does!!! Radar love was my fave for weeks. Currently the Elvis cover Polk Salad Annie and an older vid original called Lazy Girl are my current faves. I am sure that will change, especially considering she will have a collab with Ian Paice (of Deep Purple fame) and the brilliant drummer Yoyoka very soon.
You can check out any time you like
but you can never leave
;)
I think I saw her crack a bit of a smile three times on that marvelous get-up-and-dance classic. I loved her frenzied middle section -- well done!
Awesome cover. That is such a cool song.

I love, like my life. And Sina is better drummer than anyone. Period.
I can't stop raving about SINA , she is just incredible !!!!
I love when cover instrumentalists keep it pure to the original and don’t add a bunch of crap. In this case she nailed it. A fine future is ahead.

SantaClaus HawkeyeNJ. That is awesome, Santa. Thank you
And thank you Sina.
SantaClaus HawkeyeNJ you win the internet 😂
I see over 251 jealous people disliking this video ....... and thats the exact reason too ........jealous!! There IS no other reason!
Pure talent and a hell of a job ! 👍🏻👍🏻👌👌
I don't even notice the dislike number. Not sure why so many other people are obsessed with it. I just enjoy the video.
I can't think of any other reason why there are so many dislikes. This kid is awesome!
those who cannot play dislike.. its like the teaching thing
@@danahorton1202 What's that you mean, teaching thing? Me no understand
When I first saw the video for this song, I lmmedately had a crush on Bill Bartlett.
Thank you this was my late brothers favorite song.. He could sing all the words and I think he considered the wild child as HIMSELF.
Beautiful Rendition.. He'd have loved it.
Not only are you a superb drummer, I love the way you enjoy yourself. Never stop....
Freaking awesome girl ...you rock SINA !
This is the ideal song for you outstanding drums. I can tell you loved doing this one and you was really enjoying yourself not half as much as I enjoyed listening to it though.Great job Sina another classic given your expertise
That was amazing. Excellent drumming to a great song. Its a pleasure to listen to. Thanks. Tony
You stell playing o my god you are the real drumer to this song
Absolutley brilliant, could stand in for any drummer in any band, really talanted young girl
I have loved the drums since I was a child. I get so much enjoyment watching your drum covers. You are highly skilled yet so natural when you perform. Please keep doing what you do!
Nice job, Sina! Tight and solid! Keep rockin'!
Unglaublich.
I'm sorry, I don't speak Italian...:) Spongebob reference, and I would assume that's German.
LG André
P.S. "I think I'm going to practice a little bit ;-)"
Wow..!! Not enough words..JUS PLAIN OL WOW..!!!!!!
Toll gemacht, weiter so!!!😀
I'm dumbfounded. Today's youth doing something like this is rare, the rest have no hope. Sina will be going places with these skills, surely
The incredible ability to get into every song despite the young age. It seems to lead the whole performance while instead playing on the base.
Love me some Ram Jam, great song, and a kick ass drum track and she nails it
Wow! I've been playing drums since I was younger than her, now I'm 42 and I could not play that song like she can. Wow!!!
Whoa! I did not realise just how much fun the drums in this rocking track were :)
