There will be a way using code, to pull the data from a 3rd party, but a simpler way to do it would be to have a text doc with your dad jokes in it, and have it pull a random line of text each time from it.
Hi, This is great but I do have one question. You are talking about the topic abit. I want lets say 3 different messages running 5, 10 and 15. But also a spam filter where 10 lines need to be wrote for it to activate. BUT, if I wait for 10 minutes and write something, both messages will spam out. etc etc, also it will always be the first one timed action that will come THEN the second one. No way to make sure it in a sort of list so the if the first times action have happend but not the second and third one they are next up?
The only way to stop it spamming is to make sure they are all set random times and not 5 10 15 as the 5 will trigger at both the 10 and 15 as well etc. the only other way to do it is to use a counter variable that adds 1 each time a message is run say every 5 min. And when it gets to the bottom it resets the variable to 0 and it starts all over again.
Hi, I want to be sure about something. Once you set up the timer recurrence, the sub-action correlated is triggered as soon as the action is activated, right? I mean if you set up 5 minutes between each message, the 1st message will pop up immediately and not after 5 minutes, won't it?
But also the first one will only trigger after the 5 min has been reached. So it starts counting from the moment your streamerbot is open and running. So your messages will start 5 min from there.

The main scene will wait 60 minutes, then another scene pops (a pause scene) and disappear after 3 minutes. In fact, I plan to launch 3 min ads during this pause scene. I set up an action timer loop of 60 minutes, during which I ask Streamer bot to execute 2 sub-actions: - The launch of a 180s ad. - And make my pause scene visible. The problem is I want to be sure that my ad will be sent at the moment when my pause scene will appear. Could you confirm this? I hope I'm clear enough. ^-^'
Yeah that's very doable mate. In fact I have just made an action to loop my on screen adverts every 30 min so similar but different times. You will just need to build more into your action. If you want add me on discord and we can go into more detail mate 👍
this was very helpful but I got one problem. Evertime the message triggers, links like for the discord channel are shown as "****" so there is no link any suggestions?
@@davekebaps-gaming wonder if your twitch is set to hid links. As I have never seen this on RUclips and I don't stream on twitch, but sounds like a link mod setting stopping links being shared in your chat.

Have you connected your RUclips account to streamerbot?
Only reason it won't send a message is it you are not live or the bot doesn't have access to your account to post.
