I have been a fan of Kate Spade for like a decade now. When I a lot younger I always wanted a fancy bag, a designer bag, a high end super expensive bag. I also couldn't figure out what STYLE of bag I wanted. Did I want a shoulder bag, a mini tote, a handheld, a messenger? But then I realized that I really didn't need it and that Kate Spade was more my style. I'm not super fancy and in the end I really seek out accessibility and comfort haha.
I still have a few of those expensive bags but I never use them anymore because I'm too afraid of getting it dirty especially with carrying things for my baby, and also because they aren't the easiest to use while having to hold my baby.
This bag is a game changer. I mentioned before I was looking for a Tote and this was the most impressive one I found. Not to mention I got this at the outlet so the price point for this bag and what it offers is amazing! Yes I am a mom now who likes to go outlet malls and not have to pay reetail prices =) and I love it.

I plan to use this as a work bag/ tote. Sometimes you just a need a tote you can put an umbrella, water bottle, snacks, light blanket, etc. I have the laptop bag and I love it. Ordered the weekender bag with the cosmetic case and can’t wait to use it. I love that they’re all black and nylon. Can all be used for so many things and they make a set, no mismatching. Totally agreed! For the longest time I was searching for a black nylon bag and when I came across this I was so happy!! It was like meant to be! And yes totally versatile. Mom bag, work bag, everyday bag, anytime bag 😍😍. It’s both chill and professional. Enjoy your goodies!!

@@ilovericelol yea I also need as a diaper bag for a 3rd baby I just want to use it enough after but I guess could be a weekender too just thought maybe I could manage with the smaller size..

This is great! Do you wear the shoulder straps ever? They seem so long and awkward.. debating between this and Chelsea medium
The shoulder straps are a great length for me actually!! I usually like crossbody straps just cuz I liked the messenger bag look and a lot of shoulder bags have like small shoulder straps and it can get annoying for me sometimes haha cuz it’s like too tight etc but with this one, the length works well for me especially when I carry a lot of stuff in it!! I think totes are usually made with longer shoulder straps. The BÉIS one I tried had decently long shoulder straps too. But it really depends what type of bag you are into and what you need in the bag right now!! I needed a lot of space and compartments and this is great. Plus the shoulder straps are thin not thick which is something else I like!! I tried the Lululemon tote bag and i really don’t like those straps they dug into my shoulder lol.

Hi, any idea how much this bag weighs? Great review, btw! Been looking out for a good nylon tote which can fit my laptop, lunch, water, etc. This really seems perfect. Just wondering if the bag itself is too heavy.
Hi!! Hmm I checked the website and I don’t think it says but I did weigh it at home and it’s just under 2 lbs. because it’s a nylon material it’s pretty lightweight !! Yes it’s a great bag. I love it.

How does this compare to the new Chelsea baby bag? Do you have a separate video where you review that one?
hello! No sorry I don't have a video on the new Baby Bag atm. I will say that after physically looking at it at Kate Spade, that bag is a "true" diaper bag compared to this Chelsea one in my opinon, manily because of the shape and design. This one is more chic and like I mentioned can be so much more versatile; used as a baby bag, work bag, everyday bag - no one could really tell. I also prefer my straps over the new ones.

Hi!! I hope you can answer my question. When you're using it as a crossbody, do the shoulder straps get in the way? cause they seem floppy and too long. this is the only thing bothering me 😅

Depends on how long you leave the crossbody straps but for me the shoulder straps don’t bother me. What I do is put both straps inside by my leg and they stay put!. If you try to just push down the strap on the outside of the bag then yah definitely it’s going to flop around mainly because it’s just not meant to bend that way haha. So having the straps between your leg and the back of the bag helps hold them down. Hope this helps!!

how is it holding now? is it durable? planning to buy one for school. I have 14inch laptop would it fit inside the bag?
Hello!! It holds well! I like that it has some structure to it so it stands up on its own!
Yes 14 inch should fit I have a 15 and it worked well. Keep in mind it would be best to have like an extra laptop sleeve though on it so other items in your bag don’t scratch your laptop. There isn’t a designated pocket sleeve area for the laptop unfortunately as it’s meant to be a “baby bag” but honestly like I said in the video there’s no indication that it’s only for babies!! If anything all the extra pockets and compartments are amazing for students to stay organized!!

What size is this? Do they have this in medium?
It’s like medium large. It fits a 15” laptop snuggly.
I’m not sure if they have other sizes of this. They do have a new version of the baby bag nylon tote (Chelsea baby bag and water bottle bundle)
and also a similar but different version which is more narrow and taller (Chelsea ksnyl convertible backpack).

Yes!! It does and that’s another reason I love it. I tried the lululemon one and omg it flopped over so bad =( no structure at all. So glad I found this.
