Keep these old KC films coming!
The year my father became a fan. I wish he was alive to see this.
The Chiefs of my youth! I was so proud of them. But we sure got beat in the first Superbowl!! Those Packers were tough!
If he didn’t die on the operating table he would’ve been a legend
Old Municipal Stadium...I was in Boy Scouts and we'd sit in the cold concrete bleachers!
Run Abner run
Mack Lee Hill. Mack the truck 11:37 Pittsburg Courier rookie of the year 12:06
Unfortunately he died later that year on the operating table trying to repair his damaged knee.
@@darrylguilford4061 he was not properly sedated. He woke up on the operating table and freaked out. True story. He died a horrible death..
thank you for this!
Bill Walsh and Hank Stram 27:03
It’s not the Bill Walsh of the San Francisco 49ers that we know of. I just googled it.
@@mikevanriel7573 thank you
Thank you
Johnny Robinson 22:13
Ronnie Caveness 26:22 26:24
Dawson is elusive
Matuzak was in KC in 65 20:23 but flourished in Oakland... 20:10
Different player, in 65 was john maczuzak, you are thinking of the "tooz" kc 74 and 75 and then onto the raiders
John Matuzak was drafted #1 overall by the Houston Oilers in 1973 out of the U of Tampa
Looks like all these guys were running in quicksand
Running back by committee. Don't forget Abner Haynes.
