The blue visor is the Animated "Cybetron" version, while the red version is the Kiss Players "Earth Mode". I wanted to use the red version to put on a slightly repainted Earthrise Ratchet to make a Japanese police van, but it would require forcing the Ratchet head in half and then cutting/filling the rear hand of the head to fit/glue against the Autotrooper face. Also all of the heads are designed to work in alt mode. The extra head for the Alitron is actually the original head, while the one already attached is the one that came with the Quintesson Court boxed set. Both heads are cartoon/animated film accurate. The Quintesson trooper's faction symbol is a tiny light green one, on the small light purple protrusion at the top of his chest. The G2 Cybertronian head isn't Skullgrin; both heads for this figure are completely new and homage the G2 comics design.
I was a bit on the fence about this set, especially when it came to the Seeker, but now that I know he's more of a purple than a blue, like the generic, nameless Seekers from the original three-part episode of the cartoon, I might get this set.
@@Galvamel the only real issue with that would the that the only real option would be Thrust style VTOL wings. The other options we've already seen would be Dirge or Ramjet style but that would require entirely different leg parts on top of removing and adding the small parts that replace the back wings. And, for what's supposed to be an easy Repaint boxset, I doubt Hasbro would include these extras or make entirely new wings.
@@DeamonChocobo I would be fine with the VTOL wings (or maybe something like windblade's wings) one extra set would be enough. Just something to even things up with the extra heads.
The Alicon head doesn't work with the Bailiff repaint because the Bailiff is remolded for the smaller head. Due to the fact the Baillif never transformed in the movie, their alt mode doesn't have the same "inaccuracy" flaw of the alicon. Inaccuracies aside I really love the Alicon mold for how posable and full of character it is. Kinda wish the "animation colors" variant that never got produced of the alicon that showed up on early product shots of it saw release. EDIT: I forgot to bring this up but the G2 cybertronian trooper, It's odd to me they didn't base the figure off the recent Cyclonus or Blitzwing figures, the panel we see them in their altmodes in the marvel comics it's clearly based off those two. Cyclonus would especially be fitting given how similar their height is to their leader, Jhiaxus. Other people have already pointed this out, but might as well say it too. Red visor was the original Autotrooper design, where their name was "autorooper" which was a pun that looked kinda weird on paper and was easily misread as "autotrooper". They were originally human built earth defense robots, but they've been just cybertronian security/law enforcement guys in every appearance since then. Personally I like the red visor design a bit better. Kinda wish we got a Jazz retool Autorooper considering the original character was a Jazz retool, but I also like this more bulky look.
That’s how I feel I was telling my friend the other day as a joke that the transformers community pretends kiss players doesn’t exist and that we act like the auto trooper came out in animated and not kiss players 😂
My autotrooper is actually way better QC than the siege Ironhide and nemesis Ironhide were right out of package. In this video though I think the front of the vehicle was a bit turned in package and that's why he can't get that panel to stick.

Ive bought two so i could utilize the alt heads....great set really. The red visor head is from kiss players
Cool

I imagine the extra heads are so you can get two sets and not have duplicates.
The one downside to this is the Seeker doesn't come with an alternate head (a Conehead would have been nice).
@@DeamonChocobo Definitely. Or maybe alternate wings?

the head replacement is a REFERENCE TO KISS PLAYERS
We have:
Poor man's Thundercracker
Weird dinosaur man
Teal Skullgrin
White Ironhide
Been waiting for a review of this

Dude what a cool pack here. Get like 5 of these that would be awesome
Great review, but what really earned my subscription, is the greatest American hero pin...🙂
Im waiting for this set to go on clearance so I can buy 3
Maybe more. The battle scenes you could set up...
I use nail clippers to release my figs from their captivity, much better than using a knife imo 👍🏻
bro nice magic grandpa i wish i have that grandpa
Great review. 1 question: Do the seeker's hands open like Coronation Starscreams'?
Sorry, they don't. Just fists with holes.
Unfortunately, Siege Ironhide is the only good mold among these. The rest were all half-baked and should have never left the concept stage.
Isn't the purple seeker Skywarp?
No, Skywarp is black with purple elements.
As for the red Autotrooper head, that is based on its original design, from...Kissplayers. They saud bothing was off limits in legacy, but still, eek.

So I guess these molds haven't gotten super loose yet except for the auto trooper
None of mine are loose.

If i have to get the bang for my bucks out of these i definitely have to grab these on sale if im going to get multiple packs
