- For any of you who care, this is the follow up video to my TBI 1st Amendment Audit. On the 15th of February, 2019, I went and filed my complaints against all of the officers that were involved. I also made a FOIA request for the body cam footage. So, this is the process I went through on that day. Enjoy.

They have no reason to pursue complaints. Auditors rarely file lawsuits because the cost is more than most people can afford, and the defendants have the power, ability, and incentive to delay, obstruct, and draw out any resolution for so long that the plaintiffs are rarely capable of sustaining the suit.
@@notatheist For something as easy as that was he could do a Pro Se 1983 lawsuit that is just 400 buck to file for deprivation of rights, illegal detention, 4th amendment violation! Just sit back and let them send you a check.

If I were to wear one of those police type body cameras available to the general public. Then what would I say if it were out in the open if one were to ask what it was?
If I try and not be as obvious and say something like "It's a pager" then I'd be labeled a liar. That's a bad look in a court room.
So is there a way to lie but it be looked at as an ok lie (which is what my intent is, is to be righteous in my interactions) or is there a another way to conceal it so well that people wouldn't even be able to ask?
I'd much rather have it more concealed rather than having to fight through stuff but hey whatever will work. Thanks again man.

Also, file a complaint with the Secretary of State and/or the State Attorney General. Civil rights issue.

Completely frustrating is how long you were detained but the

Without watching the video and just seeing the title it will be just like all cases in TENNESSEE when it's against an LEO HE loses AND THE LEOs WIN and the LEO agency the GOD[ officer ] and the rest will seek revenge.

I'm curious to know what happened ? Did you file lawsuit against them? What happened with the complaints?
they would have received my notice of complaint by way of my attorney when I named them all in a lawsuit for unlawful detainment and which day detained you for more than 20 minutes it became a false arrest I would have filed a lawsuit in a federal court against the Tennessee Bureau as well as the Chattanooga police department naming each officer and the agent lawsuit would have been a violation of oath and if either one of them is found guilty of a violation of oath in federal court they can no longer serve on any police forced anywhere in the United States ever again not to mention dollar sign dollar sign dollar sign
Please video all your interactions with the public servants.
And post the videos to social media so the cops friends and family can see how they treat the people they are protecting and serving

You can give your FOIA request to any employee in that building and they MUST direct it to the correct people

I’m glad that we get to see the complaint process. Not that they will do anything to him at all! Make sure they get them running your plate without cause! Don’t forget that you ask for his call logs, website visited and text messages for that day....thank you!

I;m so glad you are following up and i hope you sue their asses off.
Great job holding them accountable. Most people including auditors never follow up like you have done. I live over in Tullahoma and I am very proud of you for standing up for yourself. The ones in this state you need to try to hold accountable is the so called DICE units that profile on our highways. If you get a rental car with a ny, tx, nj or fl tag they will find a reason to pull you over. No matter what they will violate your rights by searching your vehicle by claiming the dog hits on it. This happens every single day in this state. Again, KUDOS to you for staying on top of agent Farmer and holding his feet to the fire for an unlawful detainment because that is exactly what he did.
Not to mention seizeing any cash you may be carrying because it "could be" drug money. No proof needed. If you don't hire a lawyer to petition to get it back, the department gets to keep it. How's that for rewarding bad behavior?

I hope you request to see the written complaint that officer hands in, if he even does. I would be that you won't even recognize it. I doubt it will match the video at all.
Please contact the local talk radio station NoogaRadio or myself.
We need to get all the audits out at this location ASAP. News Now Houston or California Guardian.
Don't forget to get a review of any records request for your vehicle or your information.
This is just my opinion for what it’s worth, I personally would have filed the first complaint in my handwriting with my own recounting and thoughts. All complaints that I have read that have been done by law enforcement are always in their favor and pertinent facts were left out or were less than completely accurate.
Ask for a copy of your complaint and date stamped.
In Texas a complaint has to be in writing and signed by the complainant, that’s all. You do not even have to talk or identify yourself to anyone when filing a complaint.
This guy identified himself as a supervisor (I think) yet he doesn't know the complaint process. When I call the headquarters in Nashville for a Freedom of Information request, I'll ask about the proper complaint procedure.
I am in Chattanooga aswell and it is so bad with cops it makes my blood boil. If you like to talk and maybe do some videos let me know and we have each other's back.

You should have written your story out on Word, or some other program, in detail when you were at home and had all the time in the world to be totally accurate. The first complaint the guy wasn't even writing most of it down and you could have saved time at the second place. Hand them the written and signed complaint and see if they have questions. Don't answer their questions but have them written down for you to answer on your own time later. Your 2 different complaints might have conflicts they can exploit. Oh well, too late now.

I guess we have plate readers posted about now but still. He took your plate down twice I thought. A total SS (was thinking poop show but yes quite appropriate) .. all of them!, I lost count!
It's been a couple months now since this video. Do you have an update on if you got anywhere with the complaint if they actually followed up on it and upheld the law on there side and made things right?

Considering Tommy Farmer is the Director of the TN Dangerous Drug Task Force and speaks all over TN, I doubt _anything_ was done. He's the TNBI's public face of the drug war. We can't have superstars like that held accountable!

I take it that you can type the body of your complaint ahead of time (and keep a copy)
and just file it along with any form they might require when you get there.
The length of a permissible "brief detainment" depends on a totality of the circumstances which means 20 minutes may be too long sometimes and 2 hours may not be too long sometimes but likely the most key factor is whether or not the officer is diligently pursuing investigation to either confirm or dispel his/her suspicion.
And, "Tony" left us high and dry on any other follow up.
So 2 years no follow up? What was the outcome?

Foia all agencies and persons who ran your license plate and identifying information then and since also. Because everything about the stop was unlawful I think so would be running your plate and name without cause.
You should be talking to a lawyer. Not these people. They will never do anything for you against their own! They already proved that! Thank you for the follow up.
