@@PamsPrettyPlants I'm sorry to break your bubble but it's better to be informed (though if you'd prefer to be ignorant, please don't read on). The fish are indeed starved because that causes them to be desperate enough to eat dead human skin (which they only do because they're trying to sustain themselves, not because they want to eat dead skin).

The fish thing there’s a whole episode of Victorious as to why you should not do this. Nobody loses a limb but they all get really sick and end up in the ER.
Cassandra I am so happy you touched on this!!! I see it on RUclips all the time! I simply do not understand why people don’t listen to doctors and master esthetician’s. Why they do these professional procedures, let alone crazy things at home is beyond me. No wonder so many people are suffering with bad skin. Love, love, love you did this. 🍑Lisa Peaches Skin Care
Random person: Oh my gosh. You are so going to have skin cancer. You are definitely over sunning yourself. Me: I am Native American. This is the normal color of my skin.
The video of face waxing combining horror from 2 of my interests: skincare and piercings 😰 Like if that wax gets on her nose ring, it's could get stuck to something and pull, messing up the healing process or damaging the scar tissue. Wax anywhere nearby is going to accumulate dirt and bacteria, making infection WAY more likely
You should do a video on the pore suction tools, I thought they were bad to use so I wasn’t going to even check them out but if there’s a right and safe way to use them I would definitely want to try it out
My mom and her sister would soak themselves in walnut oil and lie in the South Tyrolean sun for hours when they were young. She developed basal cell carcinoma that had to be removed a few years ago and my aunt has birthmarks all over her body, also having to had several removed. Don't do this to your skin, even if it might take many years, the damage will show eventually.
The cooking oil reminds me of that woman who put essential oils on her wrists for perfume and then tried to sue the EO company because a tanning bed caused her to get burns on her wrists. Like, lady, you LITERALLY FRIED YOURSELF IN OIL. WHAT
Once I saw the fish video I automatically thought of that episode of Victorious where they got nauseous and sick and ended up in the hospital from having the fish eat the dead skin off their feet.
Can we not agree that a lot of these Tik Toks are mere attention grabs and nothing more? What bothers me, aside from thinking that influential viewers are trying these horrendous activities on their face skin, is thinking about those who try to one-up the previous version. This is testament to the toxicity and superficiality of social media. I couldn't imagine being a 16 year old in today's world.
My skin care routine is very simple. Morning: wash with an oil cleanser from Vichy and a foaming cleanser from Cerave, then apply vitamin C, some cream ( Cerave) and sunscreen 50+ ( I use one from Eucerin for sun allergies). Evening: wash with both cleansers, apply lactic acid from The Ordinary for 10 minutes, then wash off, then hyaluronic acid and niancinamide from The Ordinary and a heavy cream ( Lipikar ap+m from Vichy). I can't imagine having a longer routine, honestly. My face is super soft, I don't have acne ( maybe really small pimples once every blue moon) and I avoid the sun like the plague, because I'm allergic to it. My skin is doing really good on this routine.
The Pam got me. I tan easy even when I use SPF 50 (and yes I always reapply every 1-2hours) and this clip broke me because of the cancer risk. I had a skin cancer scare as a teen. A mole in my face (I had as a kid) for bigger and color changed. Turned out to be non-cancerous and that the change was most likely due to a facial scrub. My point is having a cancer scare is the worst thing I’ve ever been through and I don’t want others to suffer.
I am Obsessed with this channel! I have 33, and never really do a skincare routine. I really love the ordinary videos. I have not heard of this brand. Unfortunately they do not delivery in Brazil. But thank you for explaining about routines give advices and educational content!
I hate it when people think "if a product is good they should use as much as they can" because you shouldn't. A good product is not only about the ingredient list but also about dosage and usage. People literally think they can decide how to use *science* with emotions. This isn't a toy, you can't use science as a coping mechanism when it actually could hurt you and obviously your followers who wants to try the same thing. If you're not sure of how to use a product please don't share it on social media only to *show off* . You may cause a serious consequence for others. And a side note, *forcing* your skin to absorb everything doesn't make you look pretty, *please don't* .
Something to note about those fish spas is that there a two types of fish used - the 'doctor fish' which has very tiny teeth that are more gentle on the skin and a larger, cheaper fish which has much bigger teeth that can cause small nicks. Dodgy spas will sometime use the larger to save money and can cause even more risk of infection!
One of my coworkers said she uses butter as a way to even out her tan on her face and body. I don't even think that worked because the girl was only a few shades darker than me, Miss Vampire.
I've heard that some people enjoy get a tun with coconut oil all over their body here in Brazil. It's a common thing in some places like nordeste. I was chocked...
*Heyy butterflies a start-of-the-week request* : please don’t ever do any of this to your face 🙃 www.tiktok.com/@cassandrabankson

Me, someone who's spent a very long time studying fish when I saw that vid: AaaAaaAA NOOOOOO she has stuff on her face that can be dangerous to them like chemicals and they're starved make it stop-
You watching out for anyone in danger is the best thing like yes QUEEN
The hungry fish made me so sad 🥺
Same ! But I don’t think they actually starve them . I have fish , and they literally can eat 24/7 , you just gotta be careful not to over feed them . They are not like humans, their tiny lil brains don’t know when they’re full & so they’ll constantly be eating .
Thank you, I’m going to cling to that and pretend I never heard about starving fish. 😅
@@brisa5876 I just looked into it and indeed spas admit to this. They starve the fish and they're is no way to clean the fish between the customers.
@@marcellina4270 Go educate yourself before educating other. The fishes are indeed starved.
Thank you Aaron for helping Bryan out!
I love how she is so Caring for other people skin & expressive reaction.
The pam girl literally looked like a cooked hotdog lol
she looked like she was trying to do blackfishing or something 🤮
Cassandra, can you PLEASE do a video for some of us who have dim-wittingly over indulged in outdoor/indoor tanning in our younger years and some advice on “repairing” the skin damage done? My apologies if you already have! Thankyou for all your time and knowledge you give us ❤️
I’ve never clicked so quickly! Love you Cassandra 💜
Love youuuu
I had a woman come over to my desk and ask for a lysol wipe. I gave her one, thinking she wanted to wipe something down....I did NOT expect her to WIPE HER FKNG FACE WITH IT. and when I said, "oh ma'am. That's a lysol wipe to disinfect surfaces". And she essentially said, "oh, I know. I use these at home"... dear God.
💗 the fact that you included the link for DMV and even instructed to open in a private tab! I have no interest in beauty/skincare but somehow stumbled upon your channel. Maybe I'll finally take an interest in skincare if I keep watching your vids.
The fish thing there’s a whole episode of Victorious as to why you should not do this. Nobody loses a limb but they all get really sick and end up in the ER.
bless you for adding those helpful links about escaping and understanding abusive relationships
Cassandra: who are you?
Pam cooking oil trying to be skin care: I’m Pam. Who are you?
Cassandra: I’m the owner of this house
Pam: oH!
HahahahHAHAHA I laughed too hard at this and it's only 6:58 am
BRIAN! Why Brian?
😂😂
Edit: oh Dr. Idris has a skincare routine...I hope you react to it ♥️
Random person: Oh my gosh. You are so going to have skin cancer. You are definitely over sunning yourself.
Me: I am Native American. This is the normal color of my skin.
The video of face waxing combining horror from 2 of my interests: skincare and piercings 😰
Like if that wax gets on her nose ring, it's could get stuck to something and pull, messing up the healing process or damaging the scar tissue.
Don't do this to your skin, even if it might take many years, the damage will show eventually.
people have such good faces and they do things like these... i can’t.
i like the pore vacuum for occasional use i got but i NEVER use the hard plastic heads only the silicone ones!!
Hi Cassandra!! I have only watched 2 of your videos, and to say i *love* them is an understatement, youve earned a new sub!!! ❤️❤️❤️❤️
That Bryan one had me wheezing- Like bruh, who the fuck uses THAT to clear his face (+_+)
Psychopath skincare tiktok is literally the PERFECT description of that side of TikTok
YESSSS
Hi Cassandra, I'm in England, what are your thoughts on oil cleansing please, I'm 63 years old. Thank you.
Thank you for always sharing your insight with us Cassandra! You inspire so many of us, myself included, to love science through skincare!
mouth wash should never be used on your facial skin ever. burns like hell
I’m beginning aesthetics school next month and I’ve been watching your videos to be prepared for school. ❤️
Hello, is there any wait time to moisturize after using an active or a chemical exfoliant? (The ordinary Niacinamide and Mandelic Acid)
One of my coworkers said she uses butter as a way to even out her tan on her face and body. I don't even think that worked because the girl was only a few shades darker than me, Miss Vampire.
bleach literally turns the oil on and fat in your skin INTO S O A P.
BRIAN WHAT ARE YOU DOING NO!
Thanks to u I wouldn’t do such things to my skin,u have saved my skin in so many ways
I've heard that some people enjoy get a tun with coconut oil all over their body here in Brazil. It's a common thing in some places like nordeste. I was chocked...
Good on you caring about those fishes ♥️🐟🐠🐟🐠🐟
This video has frazzled me.
Thank you for shedding light on these video Cass. Hugs❤️
