This Road is not play ground this road is life line for all Nagaland people so please take action immediately humble request our Nagaland government.
The opportunity was there to opt for another route avoiding this pagala pahar( Mad hill) when the new highway was being planned. But the state government insisted on this old route for whatever reasons. You can't blame NHIDCL alone for forcing them to maintain an impossible task. How many calamities would it take for this section to be finally abandoned?

State government must take strict action against NHDCIL . They have been indulging in enormous corruption and work quality is very poor in Nagaland.
High time the law stepped in ! Legal solution to this fiasco is the only way out !
The concerned NHL man is heard to mentioned that major steps has taken to prevent rocks falls, then why this ugly incident had occured so often. Cmon ' don't deny the facts that you haven't able to construct or had taken any major steps . If you could had done enough precautionary measures from rocks or boulders falling then why this bolero vehicle got damaged or smashed, luckily the occupant had not die but with serious head and body injuries that immediate medical attention is required.. Whatever be the statement of NH, those responsible administrative heads liked the DC and overall incharged and responsible leader sri. Nehlphiu Rio CM should emphasize on quality works and gives directive before any such incident.. But it directly reflected a failure on the part of the govt of the day. I don't know how many more innocent lives would be sacrifice in this national highway 29 0r 39.kohima to Dimapur National Highway.. 😊😅

It's happening because dynamite or explosives were used to break rocks from the hillside during the construction of this highway. When the dynamite or explosives are used, they create small crack to the remaining rocks and during monsoon, water seeps into those cracks and thereby make the rocks breaks and eventually fall when there is slight erosion or vibration etc. The government should setup some committee to check the presence of loose rocks on the hillside in all the stretch of the road and remove those said rocks if found as soon as possible. So that no such accidents occur in future. God bless Nagaland! 🙏

This is the fault of both state government and NHIDCL. They give blame to eachother, this cannot be done and accepted at all. Public should rise the voice on this issue. This is completely at risk for the travellers on this highway.
