Malden is a very good city in Middlesex County. I have moved there from Somerville, that also lies in the same county.

I was born in Malden. But unfortunately my father Roy McDonough rip, was murdered in 1983 in east Boston when I was 5... Then unfortunately my mom moved us to Florid duh in 86....
I hope and pray 🙏 I find my way back home one day... Last week I got a letter from the parole supervision agency in Brockton. The man that shot and murdered my father has died. Although this does bring me and my mom and my brother and my sister closure, I have never carried that hate in my heart ❤️, it only hurts you! Amen....I miss you Malden 💜❤️

I was born and raised in Malden. The 50’s - the 70’s was the best Malden was. When they closed off Pleasant street with the government center, they killed the square. That along with the popularity of malls saw an end to the square as we knew it. I’d like to see a renewal of the surrounding neighborhoods. The sidewalks and streets in my old neighborhood are a mess. I was gutted to see them take more than 1/2 of Newman Park to build a school. They say you can never go home. I suppose it’s true. Malden is too overgrown and big for me now. It’s not the place I grew up in and only lives in my memories now.
