Eine Sekte Russisch-Orthodoxer Monarchisten, angeführt vom Nazi-Kollaborateur Sergei Taboritsky glaubt, dass Alexei noch lebt und will nach Russland zurückkehren als Tsar, wann es "gereinigt" ist. Für ihnen, "gereinigt" meint "ohne Juden, Muslimen, Kommunisten, Liberalen, Antifaschisten, Asiaten, Roma, und andere Minderheiten."
Aber das ist alles „Alternate History“ und stammt aus einem Videospiel, „The New Order: The Last Days of Europe“, einer Mod für Hearts of Iron 4.
