Nice video Ron. Cool to see IDS bring the 3D lineup on board. Solid products that work for the pro detailer.

Yes they are good products. There’s a reason they are a global company.

This is a great product. The fragrance makes it a pleasure to use. My only complaint is that 3D UK are out of gallon sizes.

You can have my gallon of Bead Maker 😅.
BIU is such a fancy extremely pleasant product. First Sonax Bead Seal, finish with this. And after ecerywash.
NADA streaking or smearing on glass either.

Thank u for video. Just waiting for amazon to deliver it in mail. My plan is to apply the product dry after thoroughly washing my vehicle. Can I apply bead maker to the entire vehicle with an applicator pad, then buff off the entire car with a microfiber towel? Or should I be working panel by panel? Is there any harm if the product were to sit on vehicle for 10-15mins before hand buffing off? Thank u.

Have this in my Amazon cart. How would you compare it to beadmaker ? Does it attract more dust? That’s my only complaint with p&s lol

3D Bead It Up is everything people wish Bead Maker was. It's a much better product in all measures. As for dust, this will always be a problem because when you RUB a microfiber towel over both paint and the underlying panel, you create a static charge. Do a side-by-side on your hood with Bead It Up on one side and Bead Maker on the other side and then feel the difference and monitor the water beading longevity and difference. -Mike Phillips

Now this is what they don’t say… Use a separate microfiber and distilled water to break the charge…

Beadmaker is the most overrated product in decades IMO. Doesn't bead water very well, durability sucks, is also expensive per oz.
I tried 3D BIU and threw beadmaker in the trash. I have zero affiliation and I'm more of a Meguiars user. But whatever 3D did with BIU, it's insane how good it is and if you buy the gallon, it's economical.

I dism8ss and refuse to use wet on wet then r8nse method. yes it does a little, but there's no chance there is full even coverage. I use it as a drying aide on veh8cles I know have protection on it already. if it doesn't..dry the clean vehicle and apply it to the surface. with detailing being a passionate subject, you shouldn't do it any other way

True, the wet on wet is not the optimal way to apply it for the best durability, but it is a method 3D advertises.

I'm not a fan of "Wet on Wet" for car body panels but it is a functional option for areas that are simply time consuming and difficult to hand wipe or hand polish - like the wheels, especially complicated designs and also grills. - But yeah, for body panels and glass, I much prefer to dry the car and the mist the product on, spread it around and then wipe to a high gloss, slick shine. -Mike Phillips

@Autoforge ya I just don't want 70 percent of my protection riding down of the car onto the floor on beads .

@Autoforge forreal.. spray a spray per panel then towel dry. way better coverage and protection than spraying into the drain. see these guys misting product into their pressure washer stream.. lolol like any of it even gets on the paint. cutting corners isn't the way. better off not doing anything until it needs a proper application. glad some others also think the same. 👍

Didn’t say if it’s applied to a fresh wash car or fresh wax car or grease remover pre application.. need to be clear ..what is the surface prior to apply the bead it . The pristine white mustang wasn’t noticeable change … use a darker car or a dirty car if this can be applied to dusty Also does the bead it product repel dust if so show it it works ie apply then go out side with car drive and show how dust does or does not settle .
    Show how water beads
State smell of product will it last .
Show brake dust with and without application
