I didn't think about, purchase, or wear nail polish for years and years ... then I saw someone on RUclips wearing Not Today Satan. I bought it immediately. It just triggered my old love of nail polish. It was all "downhill from there," and I bought masses of Mooncat and several other brands. Not Today Satan started it all! I also have Shattered Glass from that collection! Not sure why I haven't completed the collection yet, but I definitely have enough nail polish without them!
Omg I love that Not Today Satan was your catalyst to get back into polish!! 🥹💖🤩 that would hold such a special place in my heart hehe and yeah totally get wanting to complete a collection, even if it’s unnecessary with how much we already have 🙈

Yeah I totally get that! Nothing revolutionary as far as color/finish goes, but the palette is gorgeous! I never would’ve thought to pair all of these colors together 👑
This was fun! i didn't realise how pretty Antifragile was 👀 and also shoutout to your matching eyeshadow 😁 It's great that these are dupes for several of the Cirques! And that Mooncat has a visibly stronger holo flare than the Cirques and HTs; that makes me feel better about the price-point. We wouldn't have been able to tell if u didn't swatch them side by side; i rly appreciate that! 🤗 Realistically though, i'm more likely to shop ILNP/Color Club if i want holos and just live without the extra-strong holo flare. My fav finishes are flakies and shimmers over holos, so it's not worth it for me to invest heavily in holos. I'll keep Anti-fragile on the KIV wishlist 😁 it was just instant effortless Halloween vibes for me! So pretty. Thanks always for the hard work!

Love that you revisited this collection!!! I got Shattered Glass from the latest sales and am loving it so far! Though watching your video I remembered that I also have CC Groovy Grapes…so I guess I don’t need a back up now. :p On a tangent, all these pastel holos really remind me of Enchanted Polish’s Pokémon inspired pastel holo collections - I’m still bummed that I missed out the lilac in that set to complete the collection. Not sure if you had tried that set before. Now that was a fun collection.

Venus Flytrap (😮💨 I also say it’s magenta leaning), Not Today Satan (😮💨😮💨😮💨), Boa Constrictor (😮💨😮💨😮💨) and Shattered Glads (😮💨) are my favorites💃🏿 I love the skittles you do so much!! ❤ I think I prefer HT Hot Wire Pink over MC Venus Flytrap😅 It’s crazy how Not Today Satan and Cirque Frosted Cherry looked identical in the bottle but different swatched! Moon Cat wins! Same with Shattered Glass and Cirque Groovy Grape (including the winner). You looked so lovely! I love the soft glam eye look (and your lip color. I don’t know if you are wearing anything but it’s gorgeous!) and the baby pink sweater. 💕

So surprising to see how much more holographic the Mooncats are compared to Holo Taco! I love the way you're doing comparison on your nails. You can really tell a lot from it. As I am building my Mooncat shopping list for the next lunar sale I looked at these with huge interest. It can be a challenge to add things that I don't already have in my collection and things that look good on my weird skin tone but I might be adding boa constrictor one.
I know right?? Like it’s great they all look the same in the sun but I def would give extra points to mooncat just bc they also look good outside of that. And so glad you enjoy my comparisons!! And aw maybe you can check Reddit if someone with your same skin tone has swatched Boa Constrictor, I’ve seen people ask/do those requests before! I know mooncat has gotten better with having more photos of diff skin tones on their site but idk if they went back to add more for older collections like this one 🤔
@@PolishedYogi it's funny to request something in my skin tone because I am light but I don't know how common my undertones are. I just had a little PFD VLN blurring basecoats trying out with my friend and Briar Rose was ideal shade on her. On me it's too pink, neutral is way too yellow, and Plum Taupe is too grey. I do have some pink, some yellow, some green in my skin tone. None VNL bases are ideal on me. And I spent a lot of time and money looking for mannequin hands look! (I know not everyone likes it, but oddly enough I wanted to and could not find a shade that would do it).
Venus Flytrap blew me away. I wasn't much into holographics but I got this because it's pink and the name is perfect. I put it on my toes in the summer and couldn't stop staring at my feet. Love that one!
I got shattered glass to replace my HT lavender syrup because the latter was too blue leaning for my liking. I like that shattered glass has a pink shimmer.
I was wearing Not Today Satan last week and the employee taking my order at the Chick Fil A drive through went crazy over it. I think it hit the sun as she was standing outside.
I really like all of these! I've been wondering what the difference is between HT and MC. I think price wise they work out being the same and have similar shades with some great different shades also.

I was really excited about this collection but I got Antifragile and was very underwhelmed. As you said, it loses its sparkle in the shade and as I rarely spend any time in direct sunlight, it was a big disappointment. It just looks like a plain purple in indoor lighting. So I didn't buy the rest of the collection and will probably sell my Antifragile.
Aw yeah maybe it’s best to stay away from linear and maybe even scattered holos to avoid being disappointed 😔 thankfully there’s plenty of other finishes you’ll love instead!
