@@Talking_Story listening to you and Brian keep talking up your Wars of Light and Shadow read next year has me REALLY wanting to join in, but I'd just have to decide which of these 2025 releases get kicked down the road to make that happen... tough choice!
@@Talking_Story you just name the time and it is absolutely done! I believe my deluxe edition preorder is set to arrive on November 19th and then I'd be ready when you are if you wanted to do that
Silverblood Promise is super fun without ever getting too heavy, almost done with it but definitely incredibly excited for the sequel. And yeah that cover is rad as hell
The Tainted Cup was excellent, so I'm looking forward to A Drop of Corruption too! Hope you like it whenever you get to reading it. I read the first two books of The Library Trilogy this year, due to Philip's recommendation, and loved it. I'm desperately awaiting the third book. Lawrence is a new author for me so I'd also recommend The Library Trilogy as a starting point for his work.
Great video, where have you been?? You have a really good, natural skill in front of the camera - looking forward to more of your videos and I'm really looking forward to Mistborn Era 3!
I have not read will of the many-but it is one I certainly need to get to. War and ruin I’m catching on to next month and I am stoked to see what that installment has in store. It seems to my like it’s where the book takes off. The devils is on the top of my interest list since Abercrombie is a top 3 author for me. I have one more standalone the short stories and age of madness left so I too feel behind I’m excited to get into dark age, especially after the praise you just pinned on it. Shadows upon time!!!! Nuffff said about how stoked I am. What a dang good list it feels like I agree on all of these
@@Chance.Dillon I hope you love Dark Age and Of War and Ruin even half as much as I did man! And for the Will of the Many... in another comment here John from Talking Story proposed a buddy read sometime early next year, at least speaking for myself you'd be more than welcome to join!
I started Sun eater this year too and just finished Ashes of man the other night. Incredible series. I want to start Red Rising and Bound and the broken soon so I'm caught up for those but the main one for me next year is The Devils as I'm a massive First Law fan
@@TheBeardedBookBeast I'm only through Kingdoms of Death myself, but we should have plenty of time to catch up! I believe book 7 isn't coming out until the end of 2025
Red Rising is the series that made me stop taking recommendations from YT. Although it is well written, it is not for me. The way it is written reminds me of the readings from my adolescence. I want a more mature SF but I don't take recommendations from YT (because I got burned by them)
@@radudumanovschi3387 how far into the series did you get? I wasn't a big fan of book 1 either, but books 2 and 3 grow up a LOT and then the sequel series is extremely mature and dark
You are gonna love Tainted Cup. I have not read Will of the Many yet either. So much awesomness on this list I am here for all of it!
